The master bedroom has a queen bed with its own ensuite bathroom and private balcony access — a proper suite-like arrangement that gives the primary couple genuine privacy and a lovely morning outlook. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and is served by the second well-appointed bathroom. Stone benchtops, quality appliances, high-speed WiFi, Smart TV, in-apartment laundry, and air conditioning complete a well-equipped interior throughout.

The converted sun patio is now a comfortable sitting room — a sofa and a double bed give the space flexibility as either a third sleeping area or an additional lounge for the group to spread out. Please note this room is open-plan in relation to the rest of the apartment; it is not a fully enclosed private bedroom. External blinds provide privacy from outside, but there is no internal wall between this room and the main living area. It works well for families with children, groups of friends who are comfortable sharing a relaxed open space, or as a TV room by day and a comfortable sleeping area by night. Guests who specifically require full bedroom privacy for six people should take this into account before booking — we are happy to suggest alternatives if needed.

Full access to Lighter Quay`s exclusive shared facilities is included throughout: a heated indoor pool, spa, sauna, and fully equipped gym — all reserved for residents and their guests. Secure undercover parking is included with the apartment.

Lighter Quay Stratis sits at the edge of Wynyard Quarter — one of the most successful urban waterfront regenerations in the Southern Hemisphere. The North Wharf dining precinct is right on your doorstep: Baduzzi for handmade pasta and Italian small plates, Hello Beasty for bold Asian-inspired sharing plates, Giraffe for waterfront dining, and a wonderful selection of bars and wine rooms. Silo Park, with its outdoor cinema, weekend markets, and public art, is a short stroll, as is the Auckland Fish Market.

On Saturday mornings the Wynyard Quarter Farmers Market sets up along the waterfront — freshly shucked oysters, artisan bread, and serious coffee. The Viaduct Harbour`s celebrated restaurant and bar strip is an easy walk east, connecting through to Commercial Bay and Britomart`s cobblestoned laneways. The Auckland Ferry Terminal is nearby for Waiheke Island, Devonport, and Hauraki Gulf services, and the CBD`s Queen Street, Sky Tower, and Aotea Centre are all within comfortable walking distance.

Auckland is easily explored from Lighter Quay Stratis. The Inner Link and Outer Link buses connect the central suburbs frequently. Britomart Transport Centre is an easy walk with full train network connections. The Auckland Ferry Terminal is nearby for Waiheke Island and harbour services. Secure undercover parking is included with the apartment. Auckland Airport is approximately 30 to 40 minutes by car.

To ensure a smooth arrival, we ask all guests to complete a short online pre-check-in form and upload a valid government-issued photo ID before arriving — this takes just a couple of minutes.

This is a non-smoking, no-vaping property throughout — including the balcony and all common areas. No parties or events. Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and checkout is by 10:00 AM.

Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the suite or anywhere in the apartment, building, complex or balcony.

In the rare case of a noise complaint or evidence of smoking, an additional fee of up to NZD $500 may apply.

Check in available after 3pm through lock box key collection. Lock boxes are located a short distance away, full details will be sent prior to arrival. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!
