'Breakfast is good and very clean hotel'

'Room was ‘tired’. Nothing big, but multiple small things. Breakfast was the same each day- scrambled eggs and sausage. Maybe would have been ok if it was hot. Coffee was the worst I have had in a long time. Ended up going to McDonalds for our coffee. Staff did not seem to really care, almost as if we were an inconvenience. Had stayed there several years ago and thought it was better. We have family in the area so come in several times a year. Barring the other area hotels being booked up, doubt...

'The lady at the front desk gets 5 stars! The hotel was apparently oversold and she had no rooms that had not already been paid for. But when she saw that my reservation was also prepaid, she found me a good room and said, "I will have to deal with this later." She did not need the added stress but was very kind and helpful through it all. My only issue which is no fault of anyone there but the water pressure was barely enough for a decent shower. 'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'The pros: central location, breakfast was full each morning and check in was quick. The cons: the hotel room entrance was not secure. It did not lock- door reader broken, hallways constantly smelled like weed, ants in our hotel room- entire 3 night stay, no bathroom ventilation- fan did not turn on at all with lights, bathroom toilet paper roll holder not put on the wall, no hand towel holder(where one should be) flickering lights all over the hotel. 'The hotel was dirty and old, breakfast was cold, and the room was dusty. The water pressure in the shower was exceptional however. The surrounding area was also nice.'

'THIS Place is a joke. Not clean could not give us any extra towels they said they were all] out!!! really that's not good customer service. Refrigerator was so nasty. The shower wasn't clean. The rooms are OLD. I will never stay at another Motel 6. Check rooms before you stay!!!'

'Drug paraphernalia on the nightstand. Sheets have stains , sink and room not cleaned before checkin. Left this hotel mid-stay to go to another. Expedia nor the hotel refunded my stay even though I provided pictures'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

I had to alert staff who didn’t take it as serious as it should be. Eventually someone found me a working smoke detector. The room was clean on the surface but smelled musty.
