Lovely long weekend in Arnold
We stayed here for a family reunion weekend. Our extended family was spread across 3 homes in the area. 3 generations shared this particular home. It was fine, well equipped, if a bit worn, and lots of areas to hang out and a beautiful deck. The king size bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was okay. WARNING: the twin beds in one bedroom are actually none-too-sturdy bunk beds. This was a problem for the adults planning to share that room, but luckily one person was happy to sleep on the futon in the downstairs game room. Someone not staying at this home put garbage in the bear box and did not secure it properly. I contacted the manager immediately, disclaiming responsibility for the spread trash, which we mostly picked up, but received no response. There are stair tread rugs from the entrance to the main floor that are unsecured and a major tripping hazard. We had to put them aside so my 87 yo MIL did not trip on them. All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
