'We've stayed at several cabins in Arnold and this one has been the best one so far! Others tend to be not as great as the pictures show, this one I felt looks better in person than the pictures show, and they're good pictures. It is clean, spacious, great living room, eating areas, deck (hope to return in the summertime to take advantage of it - the deck lights, the grill, the outdoor furniture and the view). 'We had the best time staying at the cub house with our 3 kids- ages 7, 11 and 13. The house had plenty of cozy blankets and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans so it was easy to cook dinner. We felt very comfortable, safe and had a great time playing games and enjoying the hot tub. This was truly a fantastic property and we hope to come back soon.'

'Celebrated our daughter’s 14th birthday in Arnold and boy did we enjoy our stay. The cabin was everything listed in the caption and so much more! Kitchen was fully stocked and all appliances worked. We felt at home and comfortable on all three floors. The decor was probably our favorite! We had so much fun finding all the unique lights throughout the cabin (very nice touch). Got good use out of the pool table as well. Well definitely be back.'

'The house was located deep in the woods with fabulous windows. Eating meals was like bird watching with all the comforts of home. However my son works high tech & there was absolutely no signals—we were totally cut off from the internet civilization which was sooo relaxing for a us retired folks. But, he kept having to drive down past Arnold to get a signal to check on his work….wifi was spotty at best!'

'We stayed at this property over the Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect for my family. The master bedroom downstairs with large master bath was great for my parents who have trouble with stairs. 'This home was very comfortable and clean. The wood stove added to the cozy atmosphere. The property met our party's needs. This was ideally located near our friend's cabin and perfect for heading up to Bear Valley. We stayed 3 nights. We cooked one night and found the kitchen more than adequate. 'The place is nice. Perfect place for the size of our group. Great deck and view. The WIFI drops a lot and there is terrible phone reception. This made it difficult for our texts to the owners asking about specific issues during our trip which included the septic tank. Make sure you text them from different phone plans to make sure they get your message.'

We spent most of our time on the big deck when we were at the cabin (it gets sun in the afternoon, for tanning, but they had two giant umbrellas for shade). 'My wife and I stayed at Apache Pines in September for hiking and site seeing, and again in February to ski at Bear Valley. We like the house and its location and are likely to stay there in the future. Parking would be an issue in the winter if there are more than two cars. The lower level of the house has a bedroom, bath and family room which are great if traveling with kids. There is no master suite, the two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. This is a great place for a small group or family....
