« We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short. »

« We loved it! Great views, ever changing. Walking opportunities, beautiful area, landscapes are amazing. Helpful owners, loved the chickens walking round. In the evening we made short trips by car to see the deer. The sheep with there lambs were a joy to see (drive carefully!). The house has everything you need, for a longer stay a washing machine would be helpful. We will be back for another stay! »

« We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage »

« Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. Great location for exploring the furthest part of Ardnamurchin...

« Disappointed that the property had an apartment attached to it. We didn’t realise that and thought we would be by ourselves. Fantastic location and the house was great. Garden needs some TLC and there have definitely been dogs staying there before us! »
