'This is a great spot and a well maintained property. The room is very simple and rustic, but entirely functional, very well kept, and cozy. The road to the house is a steep dirt hill that will put some scratches in your car's undercarriage, so get the rental coverage or be prepared. Also, the WIFI is very weak and cell signal only available in a few spots in the room, so don't expect this to be a connected stay. Note to owner: the wifi hot spot you have in place is not very functional.'

'Nice location in a pretty village approx 20 minutes from Lucca by car. We stayed in a private accessed Casa with two floors which had a private kitchen whilst ant the same time we were able to enjoy the shared facilities such as the tennis courts and swimming pool with the rest of the villa. Vanessa was a lovely host, very friendly and had very helpful staff upon arrival to assist us with our bags and show us to our room. 'We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad op de idyllische plek van Mandolata. Alle huisjes zijn omgeven door de prachtige tuin. Super schoon en netjes verzorgd. En lekker ontspannen aan het mooie zwembad met uitzicht op tuin en bergen. Paola en familie zijn heel gastvrij en maken dat je je gelijk thuis voelt.'

'We spend 1 excellent week in this villa. The villa is well equipped. The swimming pool is large and the children enjoyed it. The villa is in a quiet village and is well located (about 20 min by car from Pisa or Lucca and 1h to Firenze). It was heart breaking to leave. '

'Frederica, her family and their dog are wonderful hosts. The house is charming, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the peace the place offers as well as its location nearby Florence, Prato, Lucca and others. We definitely recommend this accomodation Frederica and family have created a ideal place to stay. However, the instructions given by Friends of Tuscany were not clear. When we tried to call them they did not answer and have still to return our phone calls.'

'Mooie woning, mooie spullen die aantiek aandoen en prachtig zijn, mooi landschap eromheen en veel ruimte. Alleen de wifi leverde af en toe wat problemen op, maar Mr. Giulio (de eigenaar) snelde echt met een oplossing en een snellere verbinding proberen te bewerkstelligen. Echt een aanrader dit huis.'
