« As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome. This place was very convenient on the Wall trail and would highly recommend. »

« This hotel/inn is probably one of the nicest in the world and stands above all others that we visited on our 12 day road trip through Scotland and England in August 2019. From the reception to the nice and communicative bar atmosphere to the silky linen, the jacuzzi (that worked) and the extraordinary breakfast (eggs Benedict), we felt transported onto a new level of comfort. « La jeune femme qui nous a servi nous a consacré beaucoup de temps pour indiquer ce qu'il y avait à faire dans la région. Le bâtiment est très ancien et a beaucoup de charme. Très propre. C'était vraiment très agréable de séjourner dans cet hôtel. Dommage que nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit. Thank you for this great stay. »
