'5 stars all the way'

Prima restaurant.'

'Outstanding experience. We arrived in San Jose and wanted to catch our breath before our 3 hour drive the next day. Chayote Lodge was exceptional. Great view, very nice restaurant on property, comfortable beds and great sheets. Chayote, the canine greeter, is delightful. Lovely!'

'La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. The owners, Charles and Peter, were an absolute delight. We talked through the entire breakfast and Charles even joined us one day for breakfast. The staff was also delightful. Mauricio...

'Everything I did over there was amazing ! Will definitely go back .'

'Zeer behulpzaam, bestellen van diner zeer handig, heel aardig personeel, ruime kamers'

'We had such a wonderful experience staying here! The property was beautiful and had such a peaceful, jungle-like feel, even though it was conveniently close to town. It felt very private and surrounded by nature, and we were lucky enough to see several different types of birds during our stay. They have parking inside, so if you have any friends or guest that drive and want to come visit they can leave there car parked inside. gs on the property that would bark occasionally, most likely when...

'We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at La Vida Mountain Resort and Spa. We particularly enjoyed the evenings watching spectacular thunderstorms flashing in distant skies over other valleys while there was not a drop of rain where we were. The food was consistently very good and the staff always friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.'

'Very friendly staff, helpful, beautiful grounds'

'The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok...

'Wow! What a wonderful place to stay- a magical end to our two weeks in Costa Rica. Perfect for the whole family. We loved the chilled, welcoming, and friendly vibe. The children had so much fun playing with Margarita's dogs, and we had a lovely stay. Thank you so much, Margarita.'

'Nice place to stay with animals and a nicd restaurant'

'Heel net hotel met de juiste hygiëne. Uitzicht vanuit de kamer is schitterend. Heel vriendelijk onthaal en mensen. Zouden zeker teruggaan.'

'Goed ontbijt, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Onze kamer lag niet gunstig (achteraan zonder terras, etc en naast receptie). Hadden 2x problemen met water waarover niet vooraf werd gecommuniceerd. Gevolg: een keer willen douchen vooaleer weg te gaan en hadden geen water en stond smorgens volledig ingezeepd in douche die niet werkte. Was wel hersteld a 20 min.'
