'Audrey, our hostess, was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious! We loved the local ingredients and home made yogurt, and all for a very reasonable price. '

'Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away.'

'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'Sol chauffant dans la salle de bain mais dans la chambre rien n'est mis en place contre le froid. Il y faisait trop froid, surtout pour les enfants. Le lieu est très propre mais, il y a récupération d'argent même pour les serviettes ! Pas convivial, climat d'exclusion. '

'Lovely apartment - we only stayed overnight as a layover in this charming village but would have happily stayed longer. Caroline prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning with fresh breads and homemade jams and spreads. She was also very helpful in advising us where to visit and we were never disappointed with her suggestion. If you’re visiting Amboise, which is truly beautiful, we advise staying at Le Clos du Chateau which is perfectly located to enjoy this adorable old town,'
