The check-in process felt unsafe and untrustworthy. I had to carefully verify the links and messages because they appeared suspicious. I did not feel comfortable uploading my driver’s license and card details to a third-party website, especially since the link did not end with an Australian domain (.au).
Secondly, several basic amenities were missing. The body wash bottles in both bedroom bathrooms were empty, and one of the hand wash bottles was also empty. The TV remote had no battery, and because it was sealed, we could not replace it ourselves, which meant we were unable to watch TV. It is unclear why these basic checks were missed during the last housekeeping service.
I contacted the service desk, but they said they could not assist. Although they claimed they would arrange someone to replace the TV remote and refill the body wash, this never happened, and no communication or follow-up was provided. As a result, we had to endure these issues without support.
Lastly, the apartment has three levels with very steep and numerous staircases. The stairways and hallways are narrow, making it extremely difficult to carry luggage, and the layout is unsafe for young children. I strongly recommend that families with kids or guests requiring accessibility do not choose this accommodation. It would be a nightmare. This major disadvantage is not clearly shown or mentioned in the listing.
