'A fabulous place. Great staff. Great location - just opposite ski lifts, easy to park right by the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and varied and although we didn't eat in the restaurant we had aperitifs by the fire and that was lovely too. A very good stay.'

'Notre chambre était située au 3ème étage sans ascenseur. Aucune séparation entre le lavabo et la chambre. Les WC étaient exigus, pas de porte juste un rideau à tirer. Aucune table de travail. Décoration bricolée, multiprises, planches en bois visées et peintes avec maladresse et désinvolture. A éviter absolument sauf pour amateurs de cabanes en bois. '

'Second time staying here. Excellent little hotel just outside Chamonix, quietly set near the river in the forest with great views of the Aiguille du Dru. Friendly, welcoming. Comfortable room, a triple which was effectively two rooms with lots of space. Nothing too grand but very comfortable and clean, with a balcony. The only challenge is the narrow stairs (no lift). 'Mooi hotel met indrukwekkend zicht op de Mont Blanc. Het verwarmde 22,5m zwembad en de ruime omgeving rond het hotel zijn aangenaam. Er is voldoende parking aanwezig, en zelf als het hotel druk bezet is, heb je niet het gevoel dat er veel volk is. Megeve ligt op 1,5km en is werkelijk een alpendorpje uit de boekjes. Personeel is vriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam.'

'Je suis venu pour la première fois au Bettex en 1963, la je cmapais dans un pré avec des copains. Ensuite j'ai utilisé le chalet du CAF du Mont d'Arbois et plus récemment l'Hotel Arbois Bettex. Dans toutes ces expériences j'ai été sensible à la magie du lieu. Et la nouvelle euqpe d el(Arbois Bettex a bien réussi a préserver cette magie.'

'The single bed mattresses and supplied pillows were very worn and uncomfortable. There was no cushion backing to one side of the table area, making it very uncomfortable to use. Our room was directly above the ski locker which was very loud. The air inside our accommodation was very dry so we had to take measures to increase the humidity at night.
