'what do you expect from a hotel which is very cheap. we found it out and it became true. the room was not in a very good condition, not very proper and not been cleaned during the four nights we were there. dogs in another room which made a lot of noise and a strange machine outside which also made a teriible noise even till late. 'Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.'

'Bedden waren goed, kamer was ruim, vond het beneden in het restaurant wat naar frituurvet ruiken. Vlak naast het hotel ligt een heel oud kerkhof wat ik erg mooi en pittoresk vond. Een graf uit 1856.!'
