'Room was really clean and we appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Friendly staff too.'

'Clean room. Easy check in. The breakfast was pretty nice for a US hotel. It had a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, cereal options, apples and bananas, yogurt, eggs (meh), bacon, potatoes, plus the usual coffee and juice options. The room was comfortable and appropriately sized and the shower was pleasant. Only a few miles from Charleston. Parking was easy and abundant.'

'I’ve been in my share of Holiday Inn Express’, but this one in on the bottom of my list. Very indifferent staff (by arrival and check-out). I booked a king and got 2 queens.. further, walls are thin, you can hear conversations in the room next door. Neighbourhood is sketchy. Room was clean, i have to say. '

'Looked around and found a decent reviewed place with a pool, so my son would have a pool to swim in. Upon arrival, the first room they gave us had a very loud AC UNIT. they switched us rooms and then found out that the pool was down for maintenance. Then I went back and read some more reviews and found out that it happens often. The rooms weren't to terrible and was fairly clean. Just a let down that we weren't able to access the pool.'
