'This is definitely for a solo traveler. Extremely clean, very helpful, professional staff. My room was a 3rd floor walk up. Small shower/ bathroom with a double bed and tv. Very clean. The hotel’s decor is white/yellow accents, unique and very traditional. The breakfast visited of coffee, croissants and fruits. Not a continental spread. The downfall is that the entrance is locked at all times and you must be buzzed in by the clerk whom may not be at the desk at any given time. I found this...

'Marguerite was a welcoming and helpful host. She has done a great job of making the accessible room truly accessible! My only wish would be for a handrail for the small ramp leading to the main entrance. Arianna made us a delicious breakfast every morning before we started our day. The location is only a few blocks from the beach and a few minutes from Old San Juan. The property is just beautiful and has maintained the island charm. We enjoyed our stay!'

'My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon. This was easily the best stay we have ever experienced. The cleanliness was top tier, never once did the towels, bed sheets, shower, floors etc feel gross/questionable. The rooms are beautiful and stocked with everything you need for a nice stay. 'Casa Ciana ligt in een onprettige buurt. Wij kwamen ‘s avonds aan en wilden graag iets eten. We voelden ons niet veilig om naar een restaurantje te lopen(vervallen buurt, prostituee’s langs de weg en louche barretjes). Het inchecken gaat met codes die je in moet tikken. Heel onpersoonlijk. Je ziet niemand. Onze kamer was piepklein. Ik kon mijn koffer niet openen. De kamer was wel netjes en schoon met een goed bed. De prijs kwaliteit klopt niet. Veel te duur voor hetgeen je krijgt.'

I contacted the renter immediately, but they were unresponsive and offered no help or solution during my stay. 'The biggest issue — the sheets were incredibly pilly polyester. I can confidently say these were the worst sheets I have ever slept on and made me feel itchy and ick. I went downstairs and was able to get a new set of sheets that didn’t have the fabric disease but I ended up putting the sheets on myself since it was later at night. The location and beach are fabulous. The place seems a little overpriced for the quality of the hotel. I would have been immensely happy paying 150-200.'
