'Moorlands is set in beautiful grounds with stunning views. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast selection. Our room was quite small but extremely clean. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.'

The deluxe studio was small and well equipped but not really “deluxe”. If you moderate your expectations this place provides everything you need for a stay in the area.'

'Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast.'

'Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming at check-in. The room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom and tub, very welcome after traveling on the train. Tea and coffee was available in the room, which was most appreciated. The staff throughout the hotel were always friendly and accommodating.'

'This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...
