This was a wonderful stay with enjoyable comforts and great service. We appreciated the incredible swimming pond, relaxed Vermont atmosphere and privacy. The location is very beautiful with plenty of space to explore, and relax.

A totally beautiful property, close to Woodstock and very close to wonderful hiking trails on Mt. Tom. The spring-fed pond was a delight to swim in, and the property manager, Ben, was responsive and helpful with all of our questions. I would definitely recommend making reservations at the local restaurants before coming. Our favorites included Sante, Oakes & Evelyn, Worthy Kitchen and Simon Pearce (Quechee).

What a great stay! My family and I had a wonderful week and this home and location was the perfect fit for us. It had more than enough room for our family of 5 (still had 2 empty beds) and everything we needed to feel at home. The show stopper is this home’s property. It was so nice to see the kids outside and away from screen time. They had an absolute blast. It was quiet and peaceful and you feel pretty secluded up that hill, yet you’re so close to everything in town and it was a great launch point for day trips. It was our first time in Vermont and we were so happy this is the spot we picked.

Dartmouth Grad weekend

Beautiful home and nice property. About 2.5 miles from Woodstock town. Well stocked and as advertised. We had issues with water heater but manager had it fixed promptly. Kitchen was stocked and we did some cooking. Sleeps 8-10 easy. It was too cold to swim in pool but nice feature. We all enjoyed and would recommend.

I LOVE THIS HOUSE

It was quiet and beautiful on the grounds, but very close to downtown with shops and restaurants. And the best massage ever! The air was clean. Not just in the house. In Woodstock, Vermont. It very special and that’s were we will stay whenever we come back.

Wonderful house and location

The house is wonderful--spacious enough for us and our two sons' families to have their own rooms, with more space to share. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs, where you can sit and look at the beautiful view, and also a cozy reading nook on the second floor that has a great view. There is total privacy--no neighbors in sight--even though the house is conveniently located just a few minutes from the town of Woodstock in one direction and Silver Lake in the other direction. The new pond is a great addition. The kids had a blast swimming in it (and even catching a few frogs). Lara was extremely responsive to any queries. All in all, we had a great week there!

Fabulous, family friendly

The location is superb - close to town, but far enough away to feel like you are in the hills of VT. The house itself is well set up for a rental and is family friendly. Not too many things we needed to put out of reach from curious toddlers. Great living room for them to play in.

Great house for family and a group

A lot of room. Great amenities. 10 minutes to Suicide 6 and 30 minutes to Killington (just enough to time for a quick nap😃). My only suggestion is that there be a guide in how to use the tv/surround sound system.

This house is a dream, the spot is a dream, it's all just dreamy.

I loved my stay, the house, the environment and everything about it. Had the best latte of my life at the little downtown cafe recommended in the guide. The home is 5 minutes from downtown. The house itself is spotless, luxurious, and cozy at the same time. It has all the little Vermont touches of comfort and warmth. It's authentic and genuine. The host was wonderful. She helped with everything. We barbequed on the deck and hot tubbed watching the stars without a soul around us. Best glass of Cabernet I've ever had. I've never been more relaxed on a trip than this one. During these crazy covid times - this was totally private, isolated, immaculate and upscale all at the same time. Wish I could give more than five stars. This was heaven for my family - a true getaway and true chance to relax in total splendor of nature and comfort of home.

Amazing Stay in a Perfect Vermont Setting

Unstoppable stay. The house was amazing, the grounds were so gorgeous. I don't even have the words for the magic of this place. There is no hotel I could ever imagine to do better than this place and I've stayed all over the world with an endless budget. We had privacy and luxury all at the same time. The home is so comfortable and just when you think you have everything, they thought of something added to make everything even nicer. All the details were so thoughtful - its not like the sterile stay of luxury hotel. It's the stay of a warm and inviting home that has welcomed us like we are extended family. We were instantly put at ease during these pandemic times. Everything was sparkling clean. We drove up an exclusive private driveway to get here - we checked in so smoothly without having to deal with a single person. And we did not need them! Everything was anticipated so we wouldn't have to endure contact with a staff. It was just perfect, the kitchen was fully outfitted, the bed linens were heavenly and the property is drop dead gorgeous in full bloom. We' have never had a vacation better than this one. If you are at all feeling the pressure of the world right now, stay here for a week - you'll be brand new.

Magical House, Magical Setting, Incredible Vermont Charm

This house is a spectacular gem in every way. It's so sunny and large. It is luxurious and comfortable. The house is outfit like a real home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The dining room is perfect for family and friends. We sat 8 comfortably at the dining table and it felt like our dining room at home. The view is drop dead stunning. The grounds are lovely. We had such an amazing time because of this magical house. We will return again and again. The beds also have high end bedding and super-comfortable mattresses. It's a perfect home - its the best of blending a hotel and a house. The location can't be beat - total privacy five minutes from downtown Woodstock. The house is high up on a hill with total total privacy. Almost, no neighbors can be seen from the house. We did all the tourism and came home to the private luxury house waiting for us. This house will not disappoint. The beds are lovely - all high end bedding. It's a perfect home - its the best of blending a hotel and a house. It has all the luxury and all the warmth of a real home and is sparkling clean. The house has total privacy just five minutes from downtown Woodstock. We had an amazing time at this magical house. Huge recommend on every level and we will be back !

Peaceful and serene

The owner was so pleasant to chat with and tended to questions promptly. There were features in the listing that were not part of the rental. There is no pond as pictured. Grill available for use had no gas tank, but the owner had one sent over quickly. The outdoor shower did not operate, remotes to television and speaker/music system were not there so we could not utilize the tv or the speaker system. Many burnt out lightbulbs so several lights didn’t work. Inside of home was meticulously cleaned, but outside could have used some TLC. One broken front porch fan. Although there may be plenty to complain about the location can’t be beat. Peaceful, private, and overall, a dream retreat.

This home is a dream

Heaven on Earth. This home is a dream. It is the most magical, beautiful place I have ever been. Just showing up I felt the power of this place - the air I breathed in just hit me and felt like a jolt of healthy, it is so fresh and pure, I felt 10 years younger. The home is gorgeous - it's sunny, large, spacious, luxurious - it is divine. Everything is perfect - the bedding is high end, everything sparkling clean and elegant. The grounds, views and privacy are drop dead gorgeous. It cannot be beat anywhere in the world in my opinion. It is a little piece of heaven. We were a five minute drive from downtown Woodstock - we would stroll into boutiques, have upscale meals, visit different shops with fresh cheeses - the food is amazing here everywhere you turn. It is just a perfection getaway. Woodstock is stunning - the town is brimming with wholesome charm. It has everything to make you wish you could just throw away all the high paying jobs, and fancy cars to stay forever. This is luxury meets natural beauty to the tenth degree. Fall in love with your family all over again - this is the place. We will be back every year.
