'I booked this last minute and so glad I came across it. Booked King but got free upgrade to large King. Everything excellent, very comfortable, quiet, clean, plenty of extras in room including bottled milk in fridge, two bottles water, cotton wool and buds as well as the usual shower gel, shampoo, conditior soap, and an extra nice touch wine glasses in room. Host very friendly and informative, folder provided with lots of information on local area. Mini bar with honesty box available in lounge....

'We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. Our suite did not have a 'hot tub', which the other suites had, but that did not concern us.The Breakfast menu was excellent and food was cooked to order. 'Great location with just a short walk to the lake. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was very clean & well presented with a lovely view from the balcony. The food was great too'

'Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again .'

'Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV! Comfortable bed and sofa. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and brought to our room, and was delicious!'

'Beautiful hotel with great views of the lake. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Hotel provided us with a surprise free drink from the bar. Location is the best with on site car parking. Highly recommended. '
