Chambres d'hôtes de rêve à West Bay

« This accomodation in Bridport is very cosy, in a calm neighbourhood, it is perfect to have a restful time. The owners are very kind, welcoming and helpful. »

« The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television...

« Lovely rooms, most comfortable bed I've slept on! Very clean, have the nicest staff!! Constantly trying to upgrade their service, installed Air conditioning during the heat wave. Great location near restaurants and city center. I know where to stay when in Yeovil! Cheers to Mike and thank you! »

« Very clean, excellent breakfast and the host was very friendly and helpful. »

« Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon. »

« On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...

« A lovely b&b. Absolutely perfect for us. Would recommend anyone. »

« What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

« Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment. »

« A room with a view in a beautiful house owned by charming hosts. Excellent breakfast served every day. I highly recommend »

« Super schönes und großes Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück und freundliche Gastgeber. Parken in der Straße vor dem Haus kein Problem. »

« Simple mais confortable, très calme. Personnel adorable. Super soirées concert dans le pub le vendredi soir, avec ambiance familiale so british »

« This is an olde worlde farm house displaying much of the history of the family who have lived here for 6 generations. We were looked after very well by Sam who cooked a great tradition British Breakfast. The room was clean and welcoming. To park the car on site you negotiate amongst the geese , ducks and chickens who provide the eggs for breakfast. We loved the place and will stay there on our next visit to the area. »

« Friendly staff. Good location. Room was clean and had lots of tea and milk provided. Shower room a little smelly due to damp? but water lovely and hot. Breakfast was very nice. Pizza on 1st night tasty and good value but was not told that no meals provided on a Tuesday night but found somewhere else to eat easily We would stay hear again . »
