The neighborhood was charming. The property less so. Each of the three bedrooms had two beds on metal frames with identical white sheets and gray blankets - looked like a dormitory. The actual inventory in the kitchen did not match description; this was reported to manager and was not rectified. I had to borrow flatware and plates from my son who we were visiting. The washing machine was broken. The manager was aware of this and wanted to send a handyman on Christmas Eve day. I said it had to be before 1 when my son's family would be arriving. No one ever showed up. The host really should be more transparent about the fact that this is a bare bones set-up, utilitarian but not in any way warm and cozy.

Fits Description - Great location

Five friends and I stayed at the house for a weekend. We rented a car. Parking at the house was super great, it was a quick 7 min drive to the airport, 20 min drive into DC. Coffee shop and restaurants are right around the corner. Clean, comfortable accommodations we all had our own comfy bed. The only confusion was the corporate check-in process. It's long and tedious, and they don't give you the lock codes until 15 mins before your scheduled stay. Nerve-racking. Cozysuites has a bad rap online, and I was nervous to book with them, but everything worked out great for this stay.

AVOID RENTING THIS UNIT- HAD NO MAIN AC WORKING - ONLY 2 BR HAVE A WINDOW UNITS, EXPOSED, WIRES,ETC…

This unit online pictures showed all 3 bedrooms with a widow AC for each however THIS IS NOT THE CASE! The AC unit in the house DOES NOT WORK AT ALL & the window AC unit for the back bedroom was on the floor in the closet collecting dust. Therefore THE ENTIRE HOUSE WAS HOT except for 2 bedrooms. One of the 2 bedrooms that had a working AC window unit had exposed wires which posed another danger especially if you have children. The filters were FILTHY. The unit was dirty! The mattresses were all upside down! (We switched some once we learned about this) 3 of our family members became sick due to the heat and breathing in the dirty air from the filters. We made Cozy Suites aware of all the issues from day one of our stay however their solution was to bring 2 more tower fans, remove 1 larger filter and not replace it, send a licensed AC man (after repeated calls and text messages) out at 9:30 pm on the 6th night of our stay and then REFUSED to let him fix the AC. Their handyman and the licensed AC man both agreed that the main AC unit for the house NEEDED MORE FREON!!!! The unit had approx. 2 and needed 6 to work properly. Again we made Cozy Suites aware there was a problem on Sunday and they still did nothing to fix it!!!! The entire stay we NEVER had the AC fixed due to Cozy Suites not giving the AC man approval to put more FREON in the unit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR SAFETY AND COMFORT AVOID STAYING HERE!!!!!

Nice location

We enjoyed how close this place is to the old town Alexandria. It is located in a safe, family oriented neighborhood. The free bus made it easy to head to old town for dinner and sight seeing. Unfortunately we were there during unusually hot weather. The central air struggled to keep up. The window units were helpful but loud. Small details would make this place even better, such as replacing some broken blinds and fixing falling curtains.

Lovely house in beautiful neighbourhood

This was a gem of a house and only 10 minutes from Washington DC. The property management company were absolutely lovely and very helpful. We would certainly stay there again and hope to do so in the future to explore Alexandria and take advantage of all the cute shops and sidewalk cafes as we had our flight home changed on us and by BA so had to cut our stay short by 2 days.

Nice neighborhood and would stay again

The house is located in a safe quiet neighborhood with bus stop 34, Capital bike rental, places to eat, grocery store, and close access to Braddock Road Metro Station. The house is old and we did loose power in the upstairs bedrooms, both the lights and the wall plugs that the window ac units are plugged into. The power went out about 9:30pm and stayed out till around 5pm the next day. We rented end of July and it got really hot while those window units were off. Also the door code will not work until the check in time in your email. We arrived 20 minutes early and set on the sidewalk till ten minutes before check in time. I called the host and asked if we could check in early but it wasn’t allowed however they did allow the door code to open the door ten minutes early so we his helped us get in and settle down after we set in the heat for ten minutes. The central ac unit is old or under powered for the house. The unit can barely cool the dining room area if the doors are all closed. It can’t cool the whole house in this July heat wave and takes the three upstairs window units to keep the upstairs cool. The first floor full bath is a stand up shower that we only used the toilet and sink as the shower was too small for us to use. Everyone used the upstairs bathroom to shower. Even with all these findings we would stay here again if the house is available for our next family trip to Washington DC.

This property has the potential of being a great vacation spot. The beds were very comfortable. However the property is poorly maintained and cleaned. I arrived to find the oven doors falling off, the kitchen faucet barely usable it’s swirls around when you try to turn it on. I could not do laundry. The dryer was filthy. The air vent in the dining room was filthy. The dining chairs were badly stained. The tub in the upstairs bathroom was stained and looks dirty.There we’re water stains on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms The house smelled musty as if it has been closed up for a long time. I have pictures and videos of everything thing I’ve written about and more. At this time I cannot give a good rating. If the property is cleaned and repaired I would be happy to stay there but at this time in those conditions I would not go back. Dirty vents are a health hazard. I do not feel I received what I paid for.

Four nights for DC rally

Enjoyable stay. The property is as pictured. Just a bit dated but for the price definitely would stay again. Very close to 34 bus which will take you to the metro station to get into DC. My only complaints (and they aren’t even a really big deal since we didn’t actually spend much time there) are that I wish there were more comfortable seating in the living room for more people. We had 6 and couldn’t all sit on couches or chairs to watch TV. A couple of outdoor chairs would also have been great, but again, not a huge deal. The beds were very firm. I found them comfortable, but for some people who may prefer softer beds this is something to be aware of. Otherwise, we had everything we needed, the neighborhood was safe and nice, with some nice restaurants in walking distance (buzz for breakfast/coffee, rustico for pizza and Vasos for Greek). Would definitely stay again!
