'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '

'We arrived in town a day early and stopped by to verify/upgrade our room for the next day. The young lady at the front desk was terrific. She found our reservation and we discussed the view and since it was not what we wanted she moved us to an appropriate room. She was great. We arrive the next day to check in and during the check-in process I asked about our room to verify it was the one we got moved to and the same young lady said oh no it appears to not be the room that we moved you to...

'I hope you do not have any issues as the customer support rep spoke to me with such a nasty disgusting attitude it made it the worst experience I’ve had while traveling in a long time. When I asked to speak with the manager he told me the managers don’t accept calls from customers. When I asked for the email of the manager he refused to give me that and said they didn’t allow customer emails either. A property manager who refuses to have any communication with a paying customer? Never heard of...

'Global Luxury provides units that don’t lock securely from the inside, leaving guests non-secure while sleeping, vulnerable to anyone who has a copy of the key to enter during the night. No dead bolt. I realized immediately upon check in and returned the keys to the building lobby attendant, and I called Global asking for a refund because I need to stay elsewhere for a secure stay. Global Luxury’s final response is that they “advertised the room type correctly online” and won’t return my money....

'The location was wonderful and very convenient to the metro and all the places we wished to visit. We will definitely stay here on subsequent visits to DC. The kitchen was well kitted out with everything we needed, dishes, utensils, large full size fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, stove top , dishwasher and small washer/dryer, which was everything we could wish for and made it so convenient for our stay. Loads of cabinets and 2 wardrobes. Comfortable bed. Pillows could be softer. It was...
