Steps to Beach - Oceanfront Hono Kai 2BR Condo w/AC

Oceanfront 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, just steps away from Sugar Beach. Perfectly situated so that you are able to enjoy the gorgeous ocean views from practically anywhere in the condo...while in bed, while relaxing on the lanai or living room, even while washing the dishes. Located near the Ma’alaea Harbor, it is the ideal spot to be able to explore Maui. The property also has a pool, BBQ grill, laundry facilities and a free parking spot for use during your stay. Perfect for families.

The space
Our condo is DIRECT OCEANFRONT, BEACHFRONT!

You can't get any closer to the ocean than our condo! You are steps away from Sugar Beach.
The Hono Kai complex is a gem with its central location and its fantastic trade winds. They provide a cooling breeze that keeps the temperatures just right.

From the lanai, gaze out and watch the sun rise over Haleakala. Watch green sea turtles bobbing up for air and rolling in the surf. In the winter months (Nov-April) you will have a front row seat to breaching whales.

Slip into the pool and enjoy the ocean view while you relax in the Maui sun.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender and all of the other basic supplies to comfortably enjoy cooking and eating in. There is also a great BBQ area oceanfront so you can enjoy the view while you cook up some delicious food!

Perfect Stay steps from the ocean

We loved the beautiful sunrises, the sounds of the ocean, and the quiet coziness of this charming place. This was our first trip to the Hawaiian Islands. Melanie responded quickly to all of my questions and provided many helpful insights. Wonderful communication leading up to our stay! The beds are so comfortable. We felt well-rested, ready for our day of exploring and adventure. We also loved being steps from the beach and ocean. It was so relaxing! We look forward to visiting again.

Comfortable condo on Ma’alaea Harbor

This condo was adequate for four travelers who are comfortable sharing space and don’t require complete privacy. Great location for February whale watching from the lanai. The beach access is not direct, you have to leap down a 3 ft wall, which would be a deterrent for some. The host had good communication and the condo was clean for our late night arrival. There were some minor issues that we brought to the attention of the host, hopefully they will be addressed before your stay (screen door, sinks, and dishwasher). The kitchen had just the very basics, so you may want to grab ziplocs or reusable food containers for your stay if you plan on cooking at the condo. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay and felt like the space was roomy enough, and location provided ease of going any direction.

My family of 5 recently had the pleasure of staying in this condo and it was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived the sounds of the ocean relaxes you. Listening to the waves as you sleep is so tranquil you can’t help but get a good nights rest. The beds were comfy and the place is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you would need. Amazingly the window a/c did a great job of cooling the condo down, when used. The ocean breeze itself was enough to cool you down. The condo is nicely located only about 30 minutes from Lahaina and about 20 minutes to Kihei. Host is amazing when it came to a response. Great beach chairs to sit on and watch the surfers and boogie boards or get a tan. Hanging out on the beach was almost like a private beach not crowded at all. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Maui!

Maui Boho Chic Beachfront Review

Everything about the stay was great. It is smack right in the middle of everything, which is ideal for those who do not want to have long car rides to major attractions. The beach and views were breath taking. This is a great place. The host provides a booklet for the best eats, which my family did. The food was amazing. The only drawback is that you will be sleeping with cockroaches, they are literally everywhere. Grab yourself some raid and go to town. But it is expected in Hawaii (as I was told) so it did not bother us as much. Overall: I would recommend this place. You cant beat the location.

What a great place to relax! The location was perfect - centrally located, right on a great beach, beautiful views, prompt response from owners, who were great hosts and were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this great property!!

Great location!

We had a wonderful time. It’s located right next to the beach. My kids loved it! Internet was great, perfectly located as everything is just a short drive away. We had family staying in another condo within the same complex. Being so close it was just east to hang out and relax. Landlord is awesome! The property manager is very aware of everything, which actually I like. I’m glad someone is paying attention and looking out for the space.
