MAKAI SUNSETS-A LUXURIOUS OCEAN VIEW CONDO CLOSE TO THE BEACH AT VISTA WAIKOLOA - THE ENTIRE CONDO HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RENOVATED AND UP TO DATE!

THIS 2ND FLOOR CONDO IS IN ONE OF THE BEST LOCATIONS ON THE ISLAND! WALK 8 MINUTES TO A BEAUTIFUL WHITE SAND BEACH! OVER 1400 SQ. FT. AND A WRAP AROUND LANAI.

You will feel like you are in a TROPICAL PARADISE when you set foot inside this BEAUTIFUL CONDO. This second floor unit has a LARGE WRAP AROUND LANAI which overlooks the OCEAN and TROPICAL GARDENS. The SUNSETS are magnificent! Enjoy dining on the large lanai which features a table for 4-6. Adjoining this lanai is another large lanai with a brand new comfortable conversation seating area with a sofa, two swivel chairs, coffee table, extra stools, lounge, and a new electric barbecue. The second story lanai overlooks gardens with palms, and plumeria trees. The mature GARDENS around the entire complex and pool are lush and beautiful.
Palm trees, plumeria trees and hibiscus are just a few of the beautiful specimen plants. There is a LARGE HEATED SALINE LAP POOL with two HOT TUBS which are in a garden setting.

The kitchen was recently renovated with new khaya cabinetry, farm house sink and all new appliances. It is very well equipped with high-end cookware and colorful Fiesta dishes. Beautiful granite countertops, porcelain tile floors and a beautiful wood top bar. For small appliances you will find a Vitamix blender, rice cooker, waffle iron, crock pot, toaster, an espresso machine and more. The adjoining dining room has a tropical bamboo and glass table that seats six. A beautiful china closet holds glassware for those special drinks. A new full size washer and dryer was installed in April 2023.

The living room is very comfortable with island themed comfortable furniture. A new sleeper sofa has been added with a very comfortable queen-size mattress. Enjoy the new 50" smart tv, DVD player and a new bluetooth stereo. The view from this room is spectacular with floor to ceiling windows on two sides. Very high ceilings and ceiling fans are in all of the rooms to take advantage of the tropical breezes.

The main bedroom has a comfortable mattress on the king bed, new furniture and smart TV. The second bedroom also has a king size bed and ensuite. The mattresses are all top of the line and extremely comfortable with luxurious linens. A portable crib is also available if you are traveling with a little one.

The main bath is beautiful! Recently remodeled and has a large tiled walk-in shower with a rain head and hand held shower, 2 vessel sinks, new cabinets and beautiful stone. It has the feeling and look of a tropical spa. Off of the second bedroom is another totally remodeled bathroom with a large tiled shower. The powder room between the entry and living room is convenient for guests. This condo feels more like home than a condo. All of the rooms are richly colored and feature local art from the island.

Added amenities include beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, ice chest, and a free wireless internet.

It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beautiful A-Bay with a gorgeous white sand beach. (perfect for snorkeling, swimming and watching turtles) You will find whale watching boats, glass bottom boats and dive boats at A-Bay, as well as water sports equipment that can be rented through Ocean Sports on the beach. Beach chairs are available for public use on the beach at no charge. After a day at the beach, continue with drinks and dinner at Lava Lava where you can watch the sunset from the beach restaurant.

The condo is across the street to the famous HILTON HAWAIIAN HOTEL, down the street from the WAIKOLOA BEACH MARRIOTT, and less than a 10 minute walk to both the QUEENS MARKETPLACE AND KINGS SHOPS.

There are many good restaurants within walking distance. The condo is located on the beautiful KINGS GOLF COURSE and there are several other courses just a short drive away.

The condo is located close to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and beautiful beaches. It’s on the second floor and there is an elevator. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you’d need to enjoy your stay. Plenty of beach toys, towels, and an ice chest on wheels. You have a peek of the ocean from the lani and living room. The kitchen is well equipped. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!

Back at the Vistas

We have traveled to the big Island quite a bit over the last 20 years. We have been staying at the Vistas for the past 15 years and love this location and the complex. This unit is one of our favorites that we have stayed in. It’s well equipped with beach gear, kitchen stuff and even cocktail shakers and glasses. We can’t wait to return and hope to stay in this unit again!

Puiwa…an amazement

Kona is Puiwa! The beautiful condo was a perfect location to launch our adventures. It had all the amenities we needed! 2 bedrooms with king beds and attached bathrooms were perfect for 2 couples. A gorgeous upgraded kitchen. Beach chairs and umbrellas for lazy days on Kona’s amazing beaches! Sunsets on the lanai were incredible. The location allowed us easy access to Volcanoes National Park as well as other parts of the island. Totally recommend this condo…5 Stars!

As a Grandma and Grandpa, we took our 17 year old granddaughter and her friend to the big island for a beach vacation. The condo proved to be in an excellent location for them to explore many popular and other more remote beaches along the coast! A new beach every day. The condo itself is beautiful. Amazing attention to detail in every aspect.

Amazing condo in Waikoloa

We completely enjoyed our stay in this gem of a condo! Everything was amazing, from the easy communication with Dorothy before and during our stay. The unit was gorgeous inside and out, in a great location, and the complex was quiet. The inside had been recently updated and very nicely done. We were welcomed with some snacks and a nice bottle of wine, and a note welcoming us into the home. It was so nice to brew a cup of coffee in the fantastically furnished kitchen, then sit on the lanai and just enjoy. We definitely recommend staying her and thank Dorothy for the unit and for being an excellent host!

Spring Getaway

What an awesome condo! It had everything! Perfect location for exploring the Kohala coast. We had the best family getaway after a long snowy winter in Alaska. Every beach we explored was great and it was so nice coming “home” to our tropical condo to enjoy the sunsets on the amazing lanai!

Exploring the Big Island

Dorothy’s condo is gorgeous and comfortable. She communicated directly through email and made herself available for any questions. Everything was well stocked from the towels (lots of bathroom AND beach towels) to kitchen supplies (we made a lot of our own meals at the condo) to board games (my daughter loves Scrabble so it was nice to get a quick game in when we had a minute). The pool and hot tub were beautiful and we went in at some point every day. They were almost always empty! It was a perfect size for two couples (my parents came with us) and two kids (they slept on the pull out couch). I would say the most ideal stay would include a family or two couples. Otherwise, this is a great location to explore the Kona side of the island. We spent time heading south and north, as well as exploring the coast locally. Overall, a great stay and we hope to come back!!

Perfection

This was by far the nicest condo I've stayed in in 30 years of coming to Waikoloa. Everything was so homey and comfortable. The decor and appointments are lovely, everything you could possibly need and the kitchen was mind-blowing. Every appliance and pot and dish imaginable. A drawer full of spices and the fridge full of condiments. Now I'm so spoilied, I can't imagine staying any where else.

Beautiful Condo!

A202was exactly as advertised. It had been beautifully remodeled. Very tasteful. We enjoyed spending lots of time on the lanai with our maitais. We listened to music from the nightly luaus at the Hilton across the street. It is a short walk to the Kings and Queens shops and restaurants.

We would absolutely stay here again! This was THE best stocked/equipped rental we have ever stayed in. Lots of beach toys (for adults and kids), lots of towels, all the kitchen stuff, even generous cleaning supplies. Dorothy has shared her home away from home and is very generous about it. Beds are comfy, view is amazing, kitchen is easy to cook in and clean up. We had a couple snafus with the A/C but they were quickly resolved. Excellent Location - walk to the beach, peak-a-boo ocean view, walk to shops/restaurants (Kings and Queens Shopping center). Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it!

Wonderful VRBO Experience! Highly Recommend!

Just recently stayed at Dorothy's condo in Waikoloa and it was one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had. It was fully stocked with everything you would need for a comfy vacation including any cooking supply you would need (we ate a lot of meals at the condo), beach gear including snorkeling and boogie boards, and a convenient parking spot literally right in front of the unit. There is also a washer and dryer which made it easy to pack light. The location is perfect. A few blocks from the beach, a few blocks from the Hilton or Marriott and a few blocks from the Kings and Queens shopping areas with lots of restaurants. We walked to everything in the resort. The unit is super clean and decorated with a fun Hawaiian flair. Overall, 5-star stay and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on the Big Island.

10 days in Paradise!

This was by far the best VRBO we have ever spent time at. Everything you could possibly need to cook with is there. The beach chairs, noodles, boogie boards & cooler were used everyday & greatly appreciated. It is walking distance to restaurants, ocean beaches & shopping. We will stay here again for sure!

Perfection and immaculate

The property is just gorgeous and immaculate. There is everything u would need in terms to make ur stay perfect and comfortable. We were in awe of the decor and the beauty of the condo. The location is very convenient to restaurants and stores. Cannot recommend this place enough! U will not be disappointed and this is coming from someone who travels often. In fact I travel to the islands yearly, even during Covid and I am super picky about everything. :)

Better than the pictures

Well-equipped and spacious condo apartment. Pool is fine, though only 3.5 feet deep at all points and not cool/refreshing. Local ocean access is a pain to get to and there are VERY jagged lava rocks which are shockingly permitted to exist. There aren't even warning signs!! Overall a great option.

Excellent property!

Condo was in a great location, great shape, well stocked, and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loved the wrap around lanai, we spent many mornings and nights out there.

Everything you could possibly want for a Hawaiian vacation. Close walk to safe beach, market, and shopping. Nearby shave ice. Convenient parking. Nice pool. Reliable WiFi. Beautiful view. Fully stocked kitchen with nice appliances.

Perfect

We have stayed at this property 4 times in 3 different units. This was the nicest by far. It had everything we needed. Great view, thoughtful extras. We come to Hawaii and prefer to cook the majority of our meals so we prefer a condo to a hotel. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, flour and every appliance and utensil you could ask for. The thoughtfulness and generosity of the host really came through in all the small details.
