Couldn’t have been a more perfect place! Stayed here with our three kids and the location was amazing. Penny was responsive and the bike guy was super helpful! We never used the car because everything was walking or biking distance. For parents - no dishwasher or laundry so prepare for that. They provide (as of 2025) bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, limited towels (beach and shower), the coffee maker is a K cup machine, tvs in every room.

Check in and out process was super easy, everything about the apartment was clean and well maintained. Location in the vibe district was great, low noise, area itself was clean, and the apartment is right next to a few little cafe/restaurants. A very easy walk to the beach, and for a great price to rent for a full week. Would recommend this place to family and friends.

This house was the perfect size for our family of four. It’s very nicely decorated/furnished and in a nice, quiet area of town- close enough to be within walking distance of the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants, but far enough away that you’re not right in the center of the crowds and noise. A couple things that could be improved- the sheets and bath towels seemed to not be very clean. Beds had been made and towels looked new, but the sheets had hair and some dirt in them. Some of the towels also had hair sticking to them. Also, the owner’s policy is to only give the code for the house after the cleaning lady is finished on check-in day. We still didn’t have the access code after check-in time had passed. I did receive it then fairly quickly once I messaged the owner about it- she said her wifi wasn’t working well to send it, which I do understand, but sending it the day before seems to be a more standard procedure and would prevent situations like that from happening. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. It’s a nice place for a cheaper price since it’s further away from the beach- just be prepared to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the beachfront!

This rental is a great value for its price! The location was fantastic; super close to the beach and a few food spots a flea market. The bedrooms, bathroom, & living area were great but the kitchen left a bit to be desired. I’d recommend washing dishware before using. Also, we were bummed to find that the bikes are unusable—all three had issues (flat tire, broken chain, jammed kickstand). Overall we did really enjoy our stay!

Location is great for local food and experiences as many fantastic restaurants are located within walking distance. I appreciated the note for visitors as to what is suggested locally. Though we didn't use the bikes (the primary mode of transportation in VA Beach as we learned, it was a nice option to have for guests.

Wrestling trip

Stayed for wrestling event at Virginia sports center. Was within walking distance of event and plenty of options for entertainment/ food. Host was honest and open with communication...price seemed fair.
