'This place is amazing. If you like being upstate you will love it. The grounds are spectacular, there are a few beautiful ponds and a lake on the preserve. We stayed 3 days and had no reason to leave, everything you need is on the grounds. The room was great, very modern and everything was super comfortable. '

'Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. '

'They have a complimentary breakfast, but nothing diabetic friendly available. They have a great list of nearby restaurants witch helped us choose a dinner option and breakfast spot. Hight notes, beautifully decorated building, beautifal landscape. Fire pits for nighttime comfort. All in all loved every bit of it!!'

'Property location is great - right on the lake. Staff was friendly. The issue is the whole property needs to be renovated. The landscape was poorly maintained, our bathroom had a plunger wrapped in a plastic bag, curtains had missing hooks, tables were worn…'

'Our one night stay was quiet and comfortable. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was late April so there was no activity on the property and I did not meet with any staff members. The communication regarding room access was excellent. I would recommend this property and will stay here again when visiting the Catskills.'

'I love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since it’s a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While there’s limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which I’ve stayed in - there’s a reason for upgrading !)'

'Other than the bathroom sink being smaller than I would like, this is a great spot. Sonya and Brittany were extremely welcoming and the Town of Roscoe is adorable. Also make a reservation at the Farmhouse Italian, it is outstanding and very reasonable. The Yarra is 2 Thumbs up '
