The Space:
Discover Adventure Awaits, a welcoming haven in the heart of the pines. The spacious living room boasts a Roku TV, a DVD library for entertainment, and a crackling wood-burning fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen is designed for effortless meal preparation. The main level features the kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry facilities, one bedroom, and a full bathroom. The upper level offers two more bedrooms, a second full bathroom, and a fun bunk room filled with books and toys for children. Outside, a fenced deck provides a secure space for relaxation, complemented by a private outdoor shower. Enjoy year-round comfort with central air conditioning and heating. Additional features include a charcoal barbecue, a washer and dryer, and fast WiFi. Pets are welcome upon request. Service animals are accommodated as required by applicable law and are not treated as pets. Guests remain responsible for actual damage caused by any animal and for unusual cleaning beyond normal turnover when permitted by law. Please be aware that shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are not supplied.

Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house and its amenities, including a fenced front deck and backyard, an outdoor shower, a BBQ grill, Wi-Fi, a Roku TV, and laundry facilities.

A short walk will take you to the heart of downtown, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and family-friendly activities like mini golf and the seasonal pool. For outdoor adventures, Pinecrest Lake is just a 20-mile drive away, offering swimming, boating, and fishing. Winter enthusiasts can head to Dodge Ridge, located 23 miles from the property, for skiing, snowboarding, and snow play. And don't miss the opportunity for a day trip to the breathtaking Yosemite National Park, easily accessible from this location.

Getting Around:
Getting Around: While a car is recommended for exploring the area, you'll find convenient access to local amenities. The Twain Harte downtown area, with its shops and restaurants, is within easy walking distance. For those arriving by air, the nearest major airport is Modesto City-County Airport (MOD), approximately 75 miles away, a drive of about 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic. Parking is readily available at the property with free on-site parking for guests. Public transportation options are limited in Twain Harte, so a personal vehicle is generally the most practical way to get around and explore the surrounding attractions like Pinecrest Lake (20 miles) and Dodge Ridge (23 miles).

Pet-friendly with prior approval. Guests are responsible for cleaning up all animal waste inside and outside the property. Service animals are accommodated as required by applicable law and are not treated as pets. Twain Harte Lake access requires a pass and an additional guest fee.

Winter guests should monitor weather conditions. 4WD and/or chains may be needed.

Kitchen staples such as oil, salt, and pepper are not guaranteed.

Twain Harte Rentals provides a starter supply of essentials, including one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a small supply of trash bags, a sponge, dish soap, and hand soap. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and additional paper products are not provided unless specifically stated.

While WiFi is provided, it is not guaranteed. Mountain internet can occasionally be spotty and is not always as reliable as city service.

Firewood is not provided. Information on nearby places to purchase firewood is available in the guest information provided before arrival.

The outdoor fire pit may only be used when current fire conditions allow. Guests must confirm current burn restrictions before use.

Trash and Checkout Requirements:

Household trash must be placed inside the provided trash containers. Household garbage may not be placed in recycling containers.

If all trash does not fit inside the provided containers, please contact Twain Harte Rentals rather than leaving loose or bagged trash outside at the property.

If the trash and recycling containers are not already at the designated pickup location, they must be taken there upon departure or no later than Sunday evening for Monday collection.

If a bear-resistant trash container is provided, all household garbage must be placed inside it and the container must be fully closed and properly latched.

Guests are responsible for washing used dishes. Clean dishes may be left out to dry or placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher started before departure.

Guests are responsible for removing personal food from the refrigerator and freezer and cleaning the BBQ and oven if used.

Guests may be responsible for actual applicable disposal, cleanup, service, repair, or additional cleaning costs when permitted by law and properly disclosed, including excessive trash, stains, animal waste, excessive animal hair, odors, or other unusual cleaning conditions.

All keys must be returned to the lockbox at checkout. A $25 fee applies for each lost key.
