Centraal gelegen in Shinjuku
Hotel is centraal gelegen in Shinjuku. De kamers zijn erg klein. Je kan zowat je koffer(s) niet kwijt. Bij aankomst in Tokyo een mail van hotel gekregen dat als ik niet zou herbevestigen dat mijn reservering voor de hotelkamer zou vervallen. Hier was ik op zijn zachtst gezegd niet blij mee. Heb gereserveerd via Expedia, u dus, en verwacht dan ook dat mijn reservering voor de kamer blijft bestaan en niet dat ik bij aankomst in Tokyo deze mail ontvang. Heb wel bekend gemaakt aan hotel hoe laat ik ongeveer verwacht aan te komen. Was maar goed ook, want er lag geen reservering voor mij klaar in hotel. Pas nadat ik de herbevestiging heb laten zien was daar ineens wel mijn reservering. Ik verwacht van u, Expedia, dat u op bovenstaande actie zal ondernemen richting APA-hotel te Shinjuku. Ik vind dat dit niet de schoonheidsprijs verdiend.

Me and my boyfriend booked this hotel for our first ever trip to Japan. I rate it 3.5/5 stars. Not in a bad way though! -The hotel is clean and very quiet. Even if you have an open window that is facing the busy streets you can't hear much. -Me and my boyfriend are 5'8 and the double beds were perfect. -Be aware there are MANY APA Hotels in this area within 0.5 miles of each other so make sure you're navigating to the right one. -Even though the hotel knew 2 people would be staying for 7 days the room was very small and left very little room to walk comfortably and have suitcases to dig through. (But we were out all day everyday so it did not matter) -Staff were very friendly and always willing to help us. -The Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho hotel was near everything, very close to Shinjuku Station.

This is our second time at this location. It’s super convenient, especially for meeting with our friends in Japan. Our room did have some damage to the walls, which I assume was the fault of other travelers. If you are coming to Japan, please respect the place you are staying and the hospitality workers. Not doing so reflects poorly on other foreigners and makes everyone’s life harder

가까이 지하철역이 있고, 편의점도 주위에 많이 있습니다. 또한 일본을 간다면 꼭 들러야하는 돈키호테가 길건너 있어 좋았습니다. 객실의 크기는 딱 일본의 객실크기이며, 일회용품들은 매일매일 모두 채워 주셨습니다. TV채널이 일본 방송만 나오는 부분은 좀 아쉬운 부분이며, 나머지는 만족했습니다.

Definitely does the job in terms of having a place to stay. But don't expert too much comfort. The air conditioner was very noisy. The bed was fine, but pillows are horrendous. The shower head never produced any lukewarm water, it was always scalding. The bathtub is also very tiny if you're over 5'8" and want to take a bath. It was nice they give you one free bottle of water on the day you check in. I think this place might say they have laundry machines, but it doesn't. Overall, it's fine.

Good location. Walkable to Shinjuku Center, Shinjuku Station and subway stations. Rooms are very small with no closet space or even a drawer to store clothes. No room for suitcases either.

Cleaning staff super loud in the hallways every morning. Slamming doors, speaking too loud—when I’ve been out in Golden Gai until 2am or 3am have some respect for your guests to sleep. Also, none of the staff in the hallways would greet me or ask if I needed anything. There are so many other choices in Shinjuku, even different APAs which I will choose next time.

Stayed in a single-person room and it felt smaller than other Japanese hotels. Bathroom felt especially tiny and not suited for taller visitors. Two subway stations in walkable distance made for easy travel. While close to Kabukicho, it was already far enough to be in a quiet and calm area. Breakfast menu was decent, but going there immediately made my clothing smell of food for rest of the day.
