'Het is hel bijzonder om op zo'n historisch plek de nacht door te kunnen brengen. Het hotel is in de goede zin ouderwets, maar de faciliteiten zijn modern. Prima eten en goed ontbijt. Heel vriendelijke mensen. Voor golfers een perfecte uitvalbasis voor top banen als Royal Cinque Ports(5 min), Royal St Georges en Princes. Aanrader!'

'Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! '

'These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. '

'Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost.'

'We could order breakfast the evening before so that in the morning we did not have to wait. So no problem to catch the ferry. Not often in UK but here good coffee was served. '

'Hotel ligt op het terrein van de kathedraal. 's Nachts heel stil. Je zit midden in het centrum van Canterbury, alles is binnen loopafstand. De bedden zijn heerlijk. De badkamer is een openbaring: je kan douchen zonder dat de spiegel beslaat. Het ontbijt overtreft alles: ruime keuze uit Continental buffet, plus een kaart met heerlijke extra's, zoals volledig english breakfast, eggs Benedict, etc. Alle ontbijt opties zonder extra kosten!'

'Historisch pand, 600 jaar oud, op toplocatie, midden in het centrum van Canterbury. Vriendelijk personeel. Gezamenlijk gebruik van toilet en douche op de gang was heel even wennen, maar geen enkel probleem. Continentaal ontbijt, bij de prijs inbegrepen, was prima. Wel miste ik kaas en een gekookt ei. Full English breakfast mogelijk met bijbetaling. Geen parkeerplaats bij het hotel. Wel om bagage uit te laden.'

'Erg aardige gastheer. De badkamer was klein maar de kamer groot waardoor het onhandig was dat de tv zo klein was. Prima locatie want op loopafstand van het centrum. Handig dat je ervoor gratis kon parkeren. Aanrader voor enkele nachten.'
