'Food not great for the money loud funk music played at dinner very disappointing paid 52 for a steak all fat breakfast not great we chose to eat elsewhere. The grounds well maintained'

'This place has the potential to be great, but it is neglected by the owners. It says it overlooks a lake, but it is a stagnant pond covered with algae. The hammock collapse while I was relaxing on it. The only did not turn on at night but came on during the day. The tipi itself is really nice and the bed was comfortable. Be sure to bring your own bedding!'

'I attended an event about 30 minutes away and chose to stay here and it was a great experience! The room was beautiful, very clean, well stocked coffee bar, and the property manager was very quick to reply back if i had any questions! The town is a nice quiet little town! I would recommend this place to anyone!'

'Exceptional all the way around! The Alander is a great place to unplug and reset. The ease of checking in/out, friendly and supportive staff, beautiful rooms with thoughtful amenities, comfy/cozy bed linens, hot shower with phenomenal water pressure, I could go on and on. Complimentary room amenities along with breakfast on Saturday and Sunday that is well beyond what most properties offer and more than Substantial enough to get you going for a day of hiking on nearby picturesque trails.
