Be aware you may not get what you book- there is a disconnect between Expedia and the property owners. Our booking was for a Queen and 2 singles and got 2 Queens. Fully booked so no chance to change. Manager on site did at least provide bedding for a sofa bed

Disappointing
The Beaumont complex itself is nice but however apartment was not luxury as stated, apartments appear to be privately owned ( air bnb without the breakfast) The apartment was tired in appearance could do with a fresh coat of paint & bathroom upgrade, the checkout instructions were to another level, load the dishwasher, dispose of rubbish with directions for where rubbish chute & recycling facilities were in complex !!!!! Very disappointing for the price . On a brighter note location GOOD

Unfortunately it was noisy from the road below, there was no air con and it was very hot being on the top floor and it was quite small for the price.The swimming pool was in maintenance 1 day while we were there. Otherwise beautiful views of the ocean and clean. Easy parking under building.

The original apartment we were given did not match the online description or pictures, very small and disappointing. I went and had a chat with reception about this. Some rather unclear excuses were made but they did change us to an apartment like the one pictured on the app. This apartment is almost twice the size of the other apartment and had the features described. I was happy we ended up with what we paid for but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Very happy in general with the apartment and the complex it is in. Good location.

Great location
Really great location. Lovely balcony to sit on outside, with a view of the ocean. Cars driving down the street can be a little noisy during the day as the sound bounces off the buildings. Was a little tired inside the unit we had but clean. Easy to park the car. Would recommend.

Was a beautiful stay. But the instructions in the room is next level. We had to clear the bins before we left packed the dishwasher and basically clean before we left.

Great location. Quite tight space wise, bedroom so small that only room for one bedside table, no room for suitcases but, clean, comfortable bed and pillows, comfortable sofa and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook in. Would definitely stay again

The apartment was very cold. Minimal heating and poor overall. I would not recommend this apartment if l were asked. Bdrm door can not fully open and felt very closterphobic. Luckily we found an electric blanket on the bed so turned them on and had a very early nite.

lacking customer service vibe with front desk personnel both on the phone prior to arrival and on arrival! having stayed previously, this was a little disappointing. Property itself great though Had booked Ocean View x3 rooms to find 1 was ground floor! not willing to accommodate though had paid for ocean view. Overall stay satisfactory though.

There were a number of issues which made this stay unpleasant... 1. The sign says "Luxury Accommodation" and the price certainly is at the luxury end. But the "apartment" we stayed in was very austere. This was a glorified student flat at a kings ransom, which left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. 2. Expedia themselves tricked us! We booked for a specific weekend, and expedia, in all it's wisdom, booked us for 2 weeks later. Of course we didn't notice this until we went to check in, and our booking wasn't on the books. 3. Despite the mess-up, a staff member did find us a room (although clearly this was not of the "luxury" ilk). So we took it and settled in for the night. Then - to our horror - in the middle of the night SOMEONE ELSE LET THEMSELVES INTO OUR ROOM! In all the years I've been travelling around the world, I've never had that happen ever! How a property could have an extra key available in the first place is absolutely mind-blowing, and speaks volumes of how this property is managed. While points 2&3 were pretty upsetting, it was point 1 that I'm really seething about. While this property can charge what it likes because of it's location, it should not try and pass itself off as a luxury resort when it wouldn't earn 2 stars in any other location. In my opinion, this was nothing less than highway robbery.

The Beaumont apartments were great. It was very clean and located in the perfect area. With an ocean view and close to the restaurants. When I am visiting Mount Maunganui again, I would definitely stay here again.

Value for cost poor. Very basic unit. Table sticky and dirty. Smelt of smoke when we entered. Left windows open but smell still present Can opener didn't work. Lovely receptionist said she would replaced - but did not happen for us. Tiles in bathroom very slippy when wet. Very slow wifi. TV turned off channel after about 40 mins (only using channel one- not a pay channel) Will not have this on our happy to return list.

Disappointing Apartment.
The Beaumont Apartment complex itself was very nice, however the ‘luxury’ apartment was very far from it. Very dated with bad appliances, and the apartment smelt old and musty. Nothing like the photo on booking which is misleading. For the price per night, very disappointing. I would stay at the Beaumont again, but would request viewing the apartment before accepting, or at least see which apartment was allocated with the booking. The furniture was dated and mismatching and far from luxury!

Would've been nice to have coffee to go with the coffee plunger. None was offered other than instant coffee. A bit underwhelming with milk offered for tea and coffee. These were a bit basic.

Very disappointing that in the current climate that they would refuse evena partial refund on 2 nights of a 5 nights stay when circumstances had changed and needed to check out early. Will not stay here again when I travel back to Tauranga for business in the future.

It was nicely layed out with comfortable furniture and was nice to open out onto the private court yard. Wasn't nice to see an unclean fridge and the room could do with a freshen up the paint looked well worn with dents and scraps
