'Schitterend authentiek gebouw, in prima staat in mooie omgeving. Aardige bediening, goed ontbijt. Wij hadden een kamer boven de keuken hetgeen luidruchtig was gedurende het gebruik ervan. Blijkbaar moet je vooraf parkeerruimte reserveren hetgeen ons onbekend was. Mooie pub met goed restaurant. '

'Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x'

'De kamers lagen in bijgebouwen t.o.v. de pub/restaurant, dit maakt het direct wat rustiger in de omgeving. De douche was goed. De kamer zelf was ruim en het derde bed was ook een boxspring i.p.v. een bijzetbed of een slaapbank wat wij gewend zijn. Dit is echt prettig voor een verblijf van een week. De ligging naast de rivier is prachtig. Wel verwarrend was dat wij dachten dat het hotel in Tiverton zelf lag en niet in een klein plaatsje (Bickley) ernaast, maar als je met eigen auto gaat is dit...
