'This was a return stay as I'd been impressed before and it was just as i remembered it. Lovely room with comfy bed and nice shower. Amenities included my own iron and ironing board, fan and a green bin for recycling. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, very quick service, the food was delicious. 'We waren een uur te vroeg en mochten meteen op de kamer. Mochten de verdieping kiezen, 2 of 3, kregen niet zomaar wat toegewezen.er was helaas geen lift. Personeel heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ontbijt is er prima, wij houden niet van een engels ontbijt, maar er was genoeg om voor iedEr wat wils te nemen. Koffie is er prima. Mooi oud gebouw.onze vrienden die ons regelmatig ophaalden en terugbrachten mochten er gratis parkeren.'

'The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff.
