'The one star rating for communication is for the reservation foul up which was not the fault of the Ala Moana staff, they were amazing! Unfortunately, not booking through the hotel directly caused so much unneeded stress. I paid a lot of money before arriving and once at the hotel they had no reservation for me so I had to pay for another room through the hotel directly. I was fortunate the hotel wasn't fully booked. 'I really liked the friendly service and the cosey hotelbar. The room was o.k. and clean when we arrived, but for me housekeeping came a little bit to early in the morning. I've mentioned that a couple of times at the receptiondesk but still they came at 8 am in the morning.
