« This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. « Very well equipped and maintained house. Short stroll to two beaches. Great for kids and adults alike. Lovely patio with a hot tub. Hosts Karen and Neil live next door and are available if there are any issues or questions. We hope to return. »

Lovely hosts, gorgeous cozy property, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, thoughtful information pack, board games in the cupboard, everything spotless, and in a great location within a few minutes walk of Lunenberg’s waterfront, shops and restaurants. Even the flowers at the front were in full bloom and smelled amazing! We toured Canada for 5 weeks, as a family of 4, staying in 14 different locations, and this house was my favourite. « Wonderful properly with great water views, quiet area but accessible to central Nova Scotia. New hot tub outdoors, wonderful indoor pool and area. The home is lovely and very comfortable-the bed was great even for my husband who has a bad back. I usually cook more than I did this time and everything I would have needed was right there! « Très belle propriété, idéale pour deux familles. Tout le monde y trouve son espace. La maison est bien située, entre Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove et Halifax. Également à environ 1h des vignobles de la Vallée d’Annapolis. Il n’y pas tellement de plage de galets à l’avant de la propriété permettant de profiter de l’eau, bien qu’une merveilleuse plage se trouve à Bayswater, à quelques minutes seulement en voitures. « Waking up to the smell and sound of the ocean every morning cannot be beat at The Beacon. A beautiful setting and a beautiful property. The hosts think of everything and you need for nothing. They are quick to respond with any questions and the property is in a great location to do day drives to just about anywhere so you really get to see Nova Scotia and still have time to enjoy some relaxation at The Beacon.
