'clean room, helpful staff'

'Extremely small very basic room was not worth $290.50. Very small bathroom with no room for essentials. The rate for the same room the following week in October is $189.00. For almost $300 expected a much nicer room.'

'The pantry was nice as it had extra teas and snacks as well as a microwave if needed. Very nice sitting area next to the bar if you have extra time just to sit and relax'

'Great location!'

'We loved this property and it was exactly as described. Perfect for couples or for families, lots of outdoor space and a creek to play in. The owner and property manager were very kind and responsive. Highly recommend!'

'The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

'Stayed two nights in this cozy family-owned inn. Julie and staff were so nice! Recommended things to do and cooked breakfast each morning. Visiting with other guests over breakfast was an added bonus. Would highly recommend staying here. Very comfy bed, clean, and so quiet at night. Great location for visiting Cashiers, Highlands, and nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. Thanks for the wonderful stay!'

'Nette en schone kamer met een heerlijk groot bed. Fijne badkamer. Lekker ontbijt met voldoende keuze mogelijkheden. Aan de overkant van de straat zit de Wallmart en nog wat andere winkels. Er zit ook een Mexicaans restaurantje, waar je erg lekker kunt eten.'

'We only stayed one night as we were traveling through. It’s a beautiful historic home inside and out. The staff was very helpful. We didn’t go to breakfast as we stayed in and rested, but I’m sure it was good. Will stay again when we are in the area.'

'Zeer netjes goed bed en heel stil en een warm ontbijt '

'It was clean, quiet and conveniently located. On the downside, the USB outlets were not powered up and the one lounge chair was big enough to hold a 300 lb individual but not comfortable for someone half that size. Also, being connected with the Hilton Chain the entire property could use a major remodel.'

'We enjoyed this older motel. The room was comfortable, great shower, table with 2 chairs and a 3rd chair, so good to hang out in. We didn't meet the front desk person until late day 2, but that wasn't an issue. Wish they offered coffee before 7am. No in-room coffee, microwave or refrigerator.'

'Very good for a decent night's sleep.'

'Nice, old fashioned place!'

'Cool place, nice atmosphere short walk to the center of Highlands reasonably priced comfortable rooms and quiet'

'Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Oak Steakhouse was amazing, wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food! We’re definitely going back!!!'

'Really don't know how this place got such a good rating on hotels.com Yes, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, but that's about it. Negatives: Light switches not working Tv was broken Wifi didn't work Bathroom was full of mold and ants I could not stand under the shower because the shower head was so low. Breakfast didn't include bread Positives: Room was big Bed was good This place is not worth the amount of money you have to pay.'

'Top hotel goede service goed ontbijt vriendelijke personeel!'
