Auberges à St Ives

« The inn is next to the river ouse in a beautiful area and, by car, is 5 minutes from St. Ives, a very interesting town to visit. To visit Cambridge you can go via various little villages through the countryside avoiding the very crowded A14 - about 40 mins. The room we had was quite small though comfortable with all the usual services. I would recommend asking for a large room on the side away from the kitchen to avoid the noise of the kitchen fan. Breakfast is very good and the staff are very...

« Étape d'un séjour en Angleterre. Accueil charmant de l'hôte. Petit déjeuner complet. Chambre agréable. Les animaux sont bien accueillis. »

« Nice pub in a small village right next to Cambridge. There are only 9 rooms. Ours was pretty small but comfortable. It’s perfect for a small stay near Cambridge. Staff is lovely and the food at the pub is really good. »

« The whole experience was mediocre. The staff “alright” no real complaint but the impression you get is that the place is badly maintained The staircase leading to the rooms needs repainting, there are chops of paint missing all over the place. The carpet looks good ld and frankly dirty. The rooms are ok but the handle of the toilet flush in room 7 is hanging. Ok so the price was ok but even so, the overall feeling is of mediocrity. Note. The staff was courteous so no real issue there, but the...

« Standards have really dropped. I have stayed here multiple times over the past few years and »

« The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left. »

« noise electric clock really unpleasant and impossible to stop inconvenient shower, water runs on the window sill and the floor music from the DJ on Saturday evening really very loud to the point where the floor and the bed were shaking »

« A very enjoyable 2 night stay. Pleasant locaton, very helpful and polite staff and very enjoyable food. Only comment is that the roomwas really too small to have a king sized bed. Recomended. »

« Great stay !! »

« Personnel très accueillant à l'arrivée. Nous avons apprécié le bar typique. Petit déjeuner à améliorer. »

« Nice Pub, food was excellent, good selection of beverages, great staff, room was a bit dusty. »

« We were generally disappointed with the hotel. We paid for a better bigger room but were placed at the top of the hotel with a reasonably sized room. Lots of furniture in it which made it feel cramped. We think that a smell was being omitted from the air conditioner/ heater. Bathroom was indeed of a make up. Rust marks from the towel rail, mould on the shower walls and in the grouting. The wood was desperately in need of being painted and the loo and basin were on a low ceiling side which meant...

« Very helpful staff. Excellent food. Shower gel/ shampoo combo in the shower would have been appreciated! »

« First room hadn't been cleaned, yes the 2nd room was cold with a small heater, cold water for the shower and no Wi Fi available to help with the course that I was there for »

« Superb stay for an overnight business trip . »

« The door wouldn’t lock, either inside or outside, so had to be fixed. There was no loo rolls in bathroom, which I had to ask for. I got in from work hoping to have a shower, but there was no hot water. I told the landlady but there still wasn’t any hot water in the morning. Not impressed by the whole experience »
