« Where do I begin? This home was absolutely beautiful, pristine, everything was brand spanking new and done with such care and thought. The view of the lake was simply gorgeous, and we had so many wonderful memories made … a sunset “cruise” with our kayaks, watching a family of loons (6 babies!) and geese visit our beach, a night of s’mores around the fire, the moon reflecting off the water, and stargazing on the dock. « A beautiful cottage set in a wooded camp on Portage Lake. We kayaked and canoed. Very rustic, but super comfortable. Washer/dryer was a bonus! Hiked up Hedgehog Mountain, drove on to Fort Kent. Grilled some fish and relaxed on the wonderful covered patio. »

« We loved not having to share any space with others and the accommodations were very clean. We had a fully operable kitchen including a washer and dryer. It was wonderful not to worry about finding a laundromat. The only thing we had to supply was groceries! Snacks were waiting for us. :-} Thank you »

« Stay was good. The loacation is very nice and it worked very well for where we needed to be. The place could use some minor fixing up and maybe some fresh exterior painting. We wrapped our work up there a day early but paid for the full 11 days. Wish there could have been a way to get reimbursed for thate last day that we didn't stay. »

« The home was very dated, the furnace didn't work, the dishwasher didn't work. The homeowner disclosed the furnace not working on the day we traveled 5 1/2 hours to the home. There were other heat sources (heat pump in the primary bedroom, pellet stove in the living room and heat pump in the kitchen); however, fuel odors forced my husband and I to leave the large primary bedroom and my best friend to sleep on the couch.
