Pictures make it look better than found. Paper shades on windows had to be put back up after falling during the night. Front door had a wooden bifold door for its shade, but didnât cover the entire door, could not open bathroom door because of bed in the way. Shower curtain hung to high and water ran out all over the floor.Had to vacuum numerous cob webs from around front door and refrigerator.
We enjoyed are stay. It was affordable for us to stay there while we were in the area looking at our new land we bought recently. The only reason we could not give it a full 5 star review was there was an ant problem in the house. There were big black ants that would appear through out the tiny cabin and was found in the bed a few times. The other thing as a suggestion, the day that guest are suppose to area it would be helpful to have have the A/C started. It was extremely hot the first day there and took a few hours to get it to cool down. The host were great! They help us out when we had a issue. Thank you!
Be very aware of signage to get to road, otherwise you'll end up on a gravel road on top a mountain. It was a clean space, very small, only a microwave to cook with. We felt the floor was pitched down a bit, not 100% level. It was not what i was expecting, but was still good for our 2 night stay.
We went to Tennessee to work the Hwy 127 yard sale. The cabin was very clean and appears to be new. It is located directly beside an RV park. I would suggest blinds on doors for privacy and lamp in the living area. The owner uses an answering service and we tried multiple times to contact her about adding an additional night but got no response. Overall our experience was fine. So if you are looking for a cabin off the beaten path this one may be for you!
There is parking for bass boat and outlet to charge batteries. Bring extension cord and chucks. House can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Bathroom small but manageable. Plenty of clean sheets/blankets/towels. Nice seating area outside. Neighbors were pleasant and helpful.
