'Great stay'

'This was a little different. I checked in at one hotel and stayed at the hotel next to it. The attendant said they had just bought it. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Checking out the gentleman helping us was super nice.'

'Toilet didn’t work. Bathroom does not have a vent.'

'Very clean. BUT pillows were flatter than grandmas 50 year old feather pillow. I requested new pillows and was told they didn’t have any. I know from working in this industry that Expedia guests will get the lesser quality rooms. AC also sounded like someone stuck a duck call in it.'

'The property was very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average at best. The hotel was full the entire time we were there due to a number of sport activities in the city. Due to this, the hotel ran out of several breakfast items each day we were there. The gentleman who maintained the breakfast items was slow to respond to guest requests and to keep various items replenished in a timely manner. The television in our room was small compared to other hotels...

'Room was clean and nice but the ac was very loud in 209 hence 3 stars instead of 4.'

'First words from the receptionist were “we have a problem with your room, unfortunately we have to give you a smoking room and we cannot change you to anywhere else.” Our group could not use a smoking room for health related reasons. We asked for a refund before we even saw the room or checked in so we could go somewhere else and were denied even a partial refund. We chose the pay at the hotel option and the hotel charged us anyway even though we never used the room.'

'I can tell there is a change over in management since my last stay. Cleanliness was hit-or-miss. There was a trash can sitting in the hall next to the elevators on the fourth floor that was crawling in ants. I had to report it three times (once a day for three days) before anyone took care of the problem. The tables and the countertops in the dining area were dirty! I had to clean them myself in order to use the area.'

'Not a bad place. It was different seeing a hotel a little out of date. One thing I will for sure say is “You definitely get what you pay for.”'

'Our refrigerator was leaking water before we were in the room, so there was a big puddle when we came in. Random stains around the room. Not a big problem, just a little gross. The indoor “curb appeal” was good.'
