Relaxing southern pines

This is kind of a tough review. The house was nice, the area is quiet, the pool and backyard were great with exceptions. The listing showed a swingset in the back yard which we were looking forward to using with our grandchildren. When we got there, no swingset, it was laying in a pile near the fence. Also the outdoor furniture cushions have been outside for a long time. There was mold and algae on them and we did not want to sit on them. The house accommodated all of us (6 adults, 2 children) except for the living room. To sit 8 people on the sectional to watch a movie was very snug. Might help to add a chair or 2 in the living room. Overall we had a nice vacation. Any issues we had were handled promptly. I would recommend this house for future renters. Hopefully the 2 outside issues will be resolved.

Golf Weekend @ Pinehurst

Our family of 4 golfers stayed a long weekend in Apr 2025The house, cleanliness and space were perfect. Although the pool was still a bit chilly, that did not negatively impact our stay. Location was perfect to the Pinehurst area golf courses. Having stayed at multiple VBROs in golf communities over the past year, I would offer some suggestions to ensure a consistent top rating. With golfers and families the property needs more than 1 TV that is in the family room. Place TVs in every BR to include sun/kids play room. Especially on rainy days or when occupants don’t all want to watch same programming. Also the couch, although very nice, cushions are getting warn and sitting or lying on it could use more comfort. Thanks for a great stay and would stay here again in area.

Perfect family time!

This house was just beyond perfect for our family. There as a great amount if space (and the open space was amazing for we always know the kitchen is the place to hang with family), the neighborhood was quiet, pool was well kept, house was clean and the little instructions throughout the house were great. Definitely recommend this rental for a relaxing quiet space to spend time in Southern Pines. Only bummer was the grill, just would need a good hard cleaning to use. More then what we would have wanted to do. The oven with the baking drawer was the best and allowed us to cook big meals. Love this rental! Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Find Another Home!

This home is a battered rental property, NOT carefully cared for like many of the homes in this area. Most of the mugs and mixing bowls were chipped, the towels were dingy and small, the pots and pans were not clean, and the carpeting throughout the house and furniture needs a thorough deep cleaning. Everything was dinged up in some way, especially the outdoor area. While I understand it is not pool season, none of the string lights were working and half the solar lights were missing or on the ground inoperable. Probably the best/worst part was the.bread box that was glued back together with glitter glue. This will not be a property I would recommend or ever stay in again.

Amazing Property

From start to finish the property was amazing. The hosts and property company truly thought of everything. The backyard was perfect for our dogs and the pool was stunning. The kitchen, bedrooms, and quite frankly every area was very nice and fully stocked with towels, paper towels, shower supplies and everything else needed for our stay. Ideally located right next to pine needles golf course, it was also extremely convenient for golfers. 10/10 would stay here again!!

Just right for a family getaway!

To say this property meets all of the printed expectations is a simple response. ABOVE AND BEYOND what we expected! Plenty of comfort upgrades, little notes to help at each area we may have had issues and quick response from property helped us to settle in quickly and enjoy the lovely weather and quiet neighborhood!

Golf getaway

Our only concerns were the fridge handle was loose and some of the mattresses were soft. House and location were excellent for convenient access to the great golf courses in the area. Kitchen was very well equipped. Would not hesitate to return there in the future.

We love SOPI

The house location is perfect, minus the traffic you constantly hear from the main road adjacent to the back yard. A few items could be fixed in the home (ie the trash can drawer in the kitchen and sink should have a disposal). It was also missing a mixer, which is shown in the add pictures. So we had to go by a hand mixer and left it there for future guest. I would also have a tech check the pool heater because it doesn’t work properly even after having a pool maintenance person come a turn up the temp. I would also have someone come and spray the numerous fire ant mounds that are around the yard. Besides those few items, the home is very nice and location is perfect. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much, and thank you to the evolve team for their timely responses to our inquiries and needs!

Probably our favorite rental yet. The pool was perfect and the yard was impeccable. Beds are so comfy and even their toilet seats are heated. Never loved a house more!

Relaxing stay!

This property is exactly as listed - indoor and outdoor spaces were amazing! The pool was clean and well maintained - perfect for our family to enjoy together. The outdoor seating area and grill were very nice. Kitchen was huge with a full fridge and full freezer. Stocked with lots of spices and utensils, a coffee bar area, wine fridge and cold/hot water dispenser. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were really nice with good water pressure in the showers. Can’t say enough good things about this property. Would stay again 100%.

Great place with subpar service

The home itself and the neighborhood were nice. Unfortunately, the service was repugnant. The outdoor pool was filthy, green and you couldn’t see the bottom. It looked like the filter wasn’t running. I took photos and videos and spoke to the property manager as well as a member of the Evolve team over the phone. I was told by the property manager that the pool service had been out a day before we had shown up and had assured the owner everything was working. When I saw pool service on Monday, the evening before leaving, the service workers stated their contract was to start on that day and they had never been to the property the week before. I was lied to multiple times. I was told I would have thorough communication by the evolve team members yet I was the one that had to contact them to receive updates on my complaint. My family was very disappointed that we were unable to utilize the pool during our stay. My issue was never resolved and I spent an extra 800 dollars on the stay just for the pool compared to the other listings in the area. The pool service workers were disgusted by what the pool looked like, told us we shouldn’t swim in it and that we should get a refund. I believe a refund of some form of compensation is in order. I mentioned this in my initial review of the property under the section where you message the property owner/evolve team directly. I never even received a response regarding my concerns or my situation. Quite unprofessional!!
