'Kel and Mel made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Gave us ideas about what we could do. We enjoyed a day walking along the canal and the next day to a local sites.
The Breakfast was excellent.'

'Mooie ruime kamer en goede locatie. Wel ontgoocheld omdat de haard die op de fotos staat niet brandt en er ook geen hout lag! Was een doorslaggevende reden om hier te boeken tijdens de koude donkere dagen. '

'A very well presented and convenient hotel for Hay on Wye and the surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room itself was comfortable and finished to a high standard. Would be perfect for couples or solo travellers wanting to explore the local area. Will definitely be back.'

'Stayed for 2 nights on our Welsh road trip.
We were hugely impressed with this lovely little B&B. Beautifully appointed rooms, tastefully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean.
The breakfast box is such a great idea, allowing you to eat in or take it with you if you are heading for an early start. There's a lovely collection of continental and local produce, both excellent and plentiful.

'With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell.
The room itself was comfortable, clean, no damp smells which I feared on entry to the block. As expected from previous reviews the bathroom was tiny but that wasn’t a problem… we were here for the...
