'Renter beware, this is not a ski in ski out condo, nor can it accommodate more than 3 people comfortably. Owner claimed it was 50 steps to hill, which you can not reach due to ice and being roped off. Kitchen had only 3 dinner plates for dining, so not sure how the description claims can accommodate 6+. The hot tub pool area is not on site so that was also out of the equation. Deck was not shoveled nor was the outdoor deck furniture shoveled off so also out of the equation.'

'The house was exactly as advertised. We had elderly parents and the main floor was very accessible. I think only a couple very small steps. The house was close to a lot of activities. The only negative I would say is the balcony gets very hot so be sure to have shoes for little ones. The house has great wooded views and one morning a coyote same up to the downstairs window. The entire family enjoyed the house.'

'The house has not been updated. It smells old the second you walk in, the carpets are old, cabinets old and don’t open and close well. Two rooms are upstairs and both bathrooms are downstairs. It was 90 degrees with no AC. I wish I had paid more attention to the listing. It was annoying to go downstairs at night just to use the restroom. The guest shower was super small - you could barely turn around. Overall the price was too high for the condition of the property.'

'Very cozy place. It was quiet and has the vibes of a small cottage. They provided everything for you such as bedding, towels, wifi, kitchen with kitchen essentials (if you feel like cooking), bathroom essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap). The guest service also quickly responded when I needed help with something. Heater worked perfectly for us. Both sofa and bed were pretty comfortable.'

Good location, terrible bed, crazy high resort fee
"I visited South Lake Tahoe in the busiest part of the year: July The hotel was fully booked. The staff, though friendly, were extremely busy and didn't have time to give the guest attention. The resort fee for 3 days of over a 100 dollars (!) was just crazy. It's just extra money per night as if the base rate wasn't high enough for a renovated motel. A resort fee for what exactly? for use of the tiny pool? The absence of a gym? Parking motel style? The worst part of the stay was the mattress. It was absolutely horrible, I was sleeping in a hole the whole time. Probably a 30 year old mattress they didn't update alongside the renovation. Don't pick room 630 for the massive 300 dollars a night. I was dreading the nights of sleeping there. There was no way of changing rooms as it was fully booked. Coachman, please do better and place a new mattress there for new guests, they deserve it for the massive rate you're asking them to pay. You know you have the funds to do it"
