« I’m not sure where to even start with this review. All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. « The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. My elderly parents were relieved that we didn’t get scammed. Lol. The place was clean and large and easy to get on the highway. It’s 2 and a half baths, not 3 full...

« The house was even better than expected. We arrived much later than anticipated but lights were left on and the house was easy to get into. The location was great and very easy to find and get back to. Lots of things within walking distance and even more within a short drive. Lots of little details in the home made it very comfortable and felt like home away from home. Would definitely stay again on another trip. »

« We spent the days exploring the area (hikes, horseback riding, seeing lighthouses, exploring Portland etc.) and it was a nice place to come "home" to for my family (6 of us). We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was a bit hotter while we were there (unseasonably I believe) and so we definitely used the window air conditioners. Overall the house was very comfortable for us, was clean and provided everything we needed! »

« Clean, comfortable home with easy access to Portland, the beach, and outdoor vistas. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to boil “lobstahs” and shuck oysters for our group of seven with ease, and the fire pit on the deck was a great place to have a glass of wine and discuss our adventures of the day. We travelled with our Yorkie and the artificial turf kept her feet clean during her trips to the backyard. A nice place in a quiet neighborhood! Looking forward to our next trip to Old...
