'It's a good place for your first night of last night before you go to the islands. Don't spend too long here. The beach is dirty and the sea too. Don't expect a white beach and blue water. The food is expensive, just go to Bamboo at the end of the road to get lunch and dinner, much cheaper and better. It's a good place for just one night as it's close to the airport. Also try the local bus!'

'We did arrive during a cyclone at the resort but the staff made sure we were safe and had everything we needed. The activity Manager and Reception staff members were proactive in communicating with us for both activities and transfers. The resort staff was very friendly and responding to all our requests ( even if some would need additional training as the level of service is sometimes inconsistent). 'This is our second stay at the Westin and again the staff were fantastic, the swimming pools are great, the adults only pool is very relaxing and the feel of the resort is Fijian (not a concrete jungle like some other resorts). We last visited the Westin 2 years ago when it was not a Marriott hotel. Some things have changed, including a hike up in prices of cocktails and beers.
