'A wonderful stay, delightful evening meals, and after finding out I would be leaving before breakfast each morning they provided a selection of fruit, pastries, and fruit juice as a “breakfast bag” each day.'

'The hotel had a great location, parking is a bit difficult. but very noisy, because the terrace under the room is very noisy, you think the people ar sitting and laughing in your room..... no airconditioning'

' We booked for a weekday night and enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful stay. The staff were incredibly kind and made everything clear from the moment we arrived. Upon entering our room, we were instantly impressed by the clean, spacious, and beautifully presented accommodation. It featured a large bathroom, a big TV, a kettle, a fridge, and a very comfortable bed. We even had a stunning view from our large open window overlooking the front car park (a lovely car park!). Breakfast was included...

'There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. '

'Bedroom beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked good choice of drinks and cocktails. Breakfast, full breakfast included, delicious and lots of choice, eggs benedict, eggs royale etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again. There was a loyalty scheme but they didn't explain it so i have probably lost out on a lot of points. But otherwise excellent. '

'we hebben drie nachten gelogeerd in Rising Sun Hotel. Prima hotel. Mooie gelegen in de heuvels van de Cotswolds. Vriendelijk personeel. Wij hadden een exclusieve kamer met hemelbed, en wel twee erkers met uitzicht over het dal. Een hotel met oud-Engelse uitstraling. Een aanrader! Voor een wandeling kun je direct achter het hotel de heuvels in, prachtig!!!'
