Hostels in Shaw Island

'This place is really about the view but if you want to sleep, it could be challenging. With windows closed, we heard TV underneath us and conversations and media on both sides of our room. It was quiet after everyone went to bed but we had to wait the neighbors out. If you are a light sleeper, this place may not be for you. Even white noise can't cancel out the vibrations. 'Breakfast was lackluster, a handful of hard boiled eggs for many rooms-worth of people, not enough yogurt and no decaf coffee. Apples, when cut, had some kind of growth sprouting inside. Body wash in shower was not dispensing and shampoo, which we substituted for body wash, was not full. No hooks for towels so you just kind of pile them up. Two coffee and two decaf coffee pods which I do not consider adequate. Staff pleasant and helpful when encountered but often not at the desk, kind of...

'Very nice location with nice staff. Julia was very friendly at the front desk. However for the price charged I would expect a bed that is comfortable not one that feels like plywood. This was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on in a highly priced hotel rooms. They need to seriously upgrade their beds. Just awful couple night sleep.'
