Cabanes à Shanklin

« Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in...

« Really nice staff - friendly and helpful. Location is good - right across from the beach so you can hear the sound of the sea from the bedroom. Room itself is tired and could do with an update. No locker on one side of the bed. The use a macerator in the bathrooms so it makes a loud noice when you flush the loo or empty a basis. We had no hot water when we were there. « Rooms were average Breakfast- super delayed , all dishes were dirty- not just one or two. We stayed for two nights , both the mornings the breakfast was so delayed and they couldn’t manage the number of guests. The staff tried their best to give us good service but there was only so much they could. Poor management Wouldn’t recommend to stay here »
