« We arrived and were welcomed by the most accommodating staff. They were helpful, knowledgeable about the area and so pleasant to chat with. We lucked out to upgrade our room to English Channel views. Looking right out to see the Sandown Pier. We absolutely loved our stay. »

« Booked this hotel as last minute, I come to the island often to visit my dad so this was first time staying somewhere different. Set up more like a b&b than an actual hotel though. John the owner was lovely showed us to our room, and even made sure I knew the code to get back in through the main door. He made us breakfast each morning we were there too which was nice. Only thing id say, is that there was no tea bags or coffee / cups to go with the kettle in the room so had no use being there....

« Chambre quadruple de taille tout à fait correcte, un lit double et des lits superposés pour les enfants. Matelas à ressorts de pauvre qualité et très grinçante. Salle de bain personnelle mais eau de douche qui s'écoule très mal, problème signalé au matin mais que l'on retrouve non résolu le soir venu. Sol sale. Petit déjeuner (full English breakfast) de qualité très moyenne, peu copieux. Rapport qualité prix peu satisfaisant, cette réservation avait été tardive et les établissements de...

« Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in...

« The room was just what we wanted, with two twin beds. The wi-fi worked easily, and the bathroom was very up-scale. The lounge felt welcoming, which expanded the size of our living space. We loved the breakfast, which was both professionally put together and personalized. We felt welcomed by the hosts, who gave us excellent directions and suggestions. A very pleasant stay! »

« Reported toilet not flushing before we went out for dinner, staff said they would fix it while we were out, come back not fixed had to phone again they tried again unsuccessfully and only then offered different room this was 9 o'clock in the evening. Think this could have been handled net »

« Cet endroit est magique, le personnel est très sympathique. La chambre était très spacieuse et la literie très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon tant il s'agit la version cuisinée ou la version continentale. À deux pas du Shanklin Chine et de la plage. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute ! »
