Our stay was great for a mixed-age group. I appreciated the door at the top of the stairs—perfect for keeping toddlers safe (bring knob covers). The theater room was a highlight. While we didn’t use the basement game room or upstairs billiards much, they were nice extras. The multilevel layout worked well, offering privacy and even a separate room for my snoring husband. We loved being able to bring our dog, and having a vacuum and broom on hand was helpful. The cabin was clean overall, with just a few dust bunnies.Note: Bring your own Tupperware, garbage bags, ziplocks, spices, laundry soap, and dishwasher pods. Only a few basics are provided. The steep hill and sharp curves make the drive tough—definitely better suited for an SUV or AWD vehicle. The public road also needs repairs.Location was convenient—10–30 minutes to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville depending on traffic. The view was stunning, and we even heard coyotes nearby. I'd book again! The host was amazing and communicated well—I’ve already recommended it to several Facebook groups. I definitely recommend breakfast at apple woods on the patio-ask for server named Sherman! He was incredible & food was great!
