Online photos were obviously very old. We had trouble with the key code several times, main frig did not work (54 degrees), smoke detectors all removed, sink and counter dirty, stained kitchen rug, broken recliner and theatre room chair, broken couch, hot tub covers were broken, food left in mini frig and filthy common areas. This will not allow me to add all the photos I have.Management group replied to text but getting someone out there took too long (the next day) We had to leave and find a clean/safe house. It took days to get VRBO and the host to approve the refund and start the process after 4 attempts with customer service.

Great Cabin for a Getaway

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. Very spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom and king bed. Check in process was super easy and communication was great with the host. Definitely would recommend.

Girls week

The location was perfect! We had a girls week (6 of us, all family & over 55)! The cabin was clean and it was nice to have our own rooms and bathrooms! There are a lot of stairs and only one bedroom on the main floor, so it was a little hard for one of our senior ladies to go up and down! Owners were very nice and responsive!

Great Family Getaway

This home was very accommodating for our large family group. The common areas fit us all and allowed us to have some good quality fellowship. The bedrooms were spread throughout the house allowing some private time, which gave the perfect family vacay balance. The hosts were top of the line and communication was flawless. Most importantly, this home was sparkling clean. Great hosts, providing a great place, for great groups!

Family vacation.

Great week! My family loved the house and the gated community! Kids loved the pools and putt putt course. 15 mins away from anywhere you wanted too go!! Elizabeth was by far the best host I have dealt with, thanks for the memories!!

Cozy Cabin Stay

Had a great experience at this cabin. Everything was just as portrayed. Cabin was clean and well stocked with pantry items. The only issue was wifi, which I mean how much tv or cell phone use should be going on during a vacation with family anyways? Have no real complaints, very satisfied with our stay here!

Ladies Retreat

We had a wonderful time even though it was a little hard to climb the stairs. The oldest of us being 89 and the youngest being 52. We had more dishes, pots,and pans than in any of the cabins we have stayed in, in the past. There were also plenty of silverware, except little spoons. I think everyone that stays in a cabin or even a motel should treat it as though it belongs to you.

We did a couples trip to the mountains! This house was great for couples as there were only two rooms in each floor and both rooms were on either side of the floor. Elizabeth was very responsive and checked in every day to ensure our stay was pleasant!

Family Reunion in the Smokey Mountains

I booked this cabin for a family reunion. We had 9 children with us & the property was perfect for the kids! They loved the theater room, pool table, & hot tubs. We also loved the quick access to the indoor & outdoor pools & mini golf. This cabin had ample space for our party & I was surprised how sound proof the bedrooms were. For example: my husband, 1 year old daughter, & I slept on the pool table floor. There were several nights where we went to bed & others stayed up playing pool. Yes we could hear them playing but it was not loud considering our room was right next door. We were less that 20 mins from the Dolly Parton Stampede & about 45 mins from Cade’s Cove. To us it was the perfect location to enjoy the mountains while still being close to most main attractions. Dealing with the host was wonderful. I received quick replies to all questions & it even worked out for us to book an extra night! They were easy to work with & very accommodating. Our stay was awesome! I would definitely stay here again!

Nice family vacation in hills

The cabin is very much as pictured. All but the extravagant upstairs master are quite similar, functional, tidy. Elizabeth worked with us to improve household connectivity for internet access so we could plan the many, MANY things there are to do in Pigeon Forge/Sevierville, but do not expect to stream video/teleconference here. (We took it as an opportunity to scale back online time and play family games.) We have Verizon; not sure if other providers might be better. Hot jacuzzis all ready to go upon arrival, pool table, and clubs for the communal mini golf course provided. Communal outdoor pool was enjoyable. Noise was practically nonexistent and we were pleasantly surprised that we could sit out on the deck all evening without mosquitos bothering us. Our prior experience with VRBOs left us expecting some basics in the kitchen -- salt, tin foil, maybe olive oil or extra trash bags -- but this was dishes and appliances only. This is not a bad thing but be prepared. Easy access to stores, restaurants, shopping. All in all a nice week! One minor drain issue was handled promptly by the owner and we appreciated it!

We stayed here for our family vacation and it was GREAT! We did have a couple of issues but the main issue was 2 of the rooms pillows and bedspread not being clean! But over-all, this was a BEAUTIFUL cabin and the pictures are just like the website.

No internet

Everything was great except the fact that the internet did not work. Manger responded in a timely fashion to communications , but never found a resolution. We were there on a business trip. Internet was advertised as best no available. If you don’t need internet, this place is fabulous.

Great Family Stay

Cougar Crossing was the perfect vacation for my family including my parents and my sister with her husband and baby. The multi level layout was perfect in keeping family units on individual levels for privacy. The kitchen is loaded with everything you would need for a large gathering - we had 9! Check in was easy and Elizabeth was wonderful answering questions and addressing anything else we needed. The cabin is close to everything which was wonderful with small children. Ample parking and easy access. I would definitely recommend a stay at Cougar Crossing or at another one of Elizabeth’s properties.
