The cabin was pet friendly. You will definitely see bears. As they came up to the porch area and 2 cabins down they climbed the tree. The cabin was clean. I would recommend cleaning the washer it had a wired smell. I would also recommend power washing the front and back deck. There was a lot of dust and bugs.another recommendation is to pick up the trash on the side of the cabin. It’s kinda in the wood area but closer to the street. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Family Getaway!!We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. The location was fantastic, with convenient access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The hosts were incredibly friendly, communicative and responsive throughout our stay.As others have mentioned, the mountain roads leading to the cabin are winding, so we were glad to have our SUV. I can definitely see how four-wheel drive would be beneficial during the winter months. One memorable highlight was spotting bears near a neighboring cabin on the morning of our departure! They had gotten into trash bags that were left on top of the bear-proof enclosure, so it’s a good reminder for everyone to properly secure their trash. It’s bear country, after all!Overall, a great experience, and we would happily recommend this cabin to others looking for a mountain getaway!
